He denounced that the Israeli regime has all kinds of weapons of mass destruction and nuclear weapons, refuses to implement UN non-proliferation resolutions and, as usual, uses lies to cover up its crimes.

The Syrian delegate assured that the universality of the Chemical Weapons Convention cannot be achieved without forcing Israel to accede to the Convention and other international non-proliferation agreements.

On the other hand, he explained that the statements of the occupying government’s ministers about the possibility of an attack on Gaza with a nuclear weapon confirm the fact that Israel has always tried to hide and that it possesses this weapon outside international control systems, which poses a serious threat to represents the security and stability of the region.

The diplomat denounced that the war crimes and genocide committed in Gaza are a blatant example of the colonial policies and double standards of the United States and some Western countries and are complicit in the barbaric and bloody Israeli aggression and the war of ethnic cleansing that they are waging caused the deaths of around 15,000 Palestinians, most of them children and women.

Washington and its allies encouraged Israel to commit these crimes, offered it cover at the United Nations and the Security Council, sent it thousands of tons of ammunition and military equipment, and provided it with more than $14 billion in financial support He struck down their genocidal war.

He believed that the above revealed the extent of the West’s hypocrisy and its talk about human rights and respect for international law.

On the other hand, he rejected Western attempts to involve the OPCW in geopolitical and security issues of a regional and international nature, which led the organization to deviate from the goals for which it was created and turned it into a tool in the service of geopolitical agendas.

The best evidence of this is the attempt to attack Syria and the Russian Federation by making false and unfounded accusations of using or preparing to use chemical weapons,” he said.

Finally, he denounced that over the last decade Syria has been subjected to an unprecedented campaign of false accusations from Western countries, the main aim of which is to exert more pressure and direct and indirect aggression against Syria.
