Damascus, March 26 (Prensa Latina) The Syrian Foreign Ministry today denounced the recent bombings carried out by United States forces in various areas of the Deir Ezzor province in the east of this Levantine nation.
We condemn this brutal attack with deaths, injuries and property damage, the State Department said in a statement.
He dismissed US officials’ claims about the attacked sites as false and false. It is a failed attempt by these officials to justify their aggression, which is a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, the text added.
The ministry believed that these actions are synchronized with attacks by Israeli occupiers and Daesh terrorists on civilian targets, and are also a smokescreen to cover up Pentagon forces’ continued looting of Syrian oils.
“We reaffirm the commitment to work to end this occupation and extend state authority to all Syrian territory, and we call on all countries in the world to condemn these actions of US aggression,” the State Department concluded its statement .
A US missile attack in Deir Ezzor last Thursday killed at least eight fighters allied with the Syrian army in the fight against terrorism.
The US Department of Defense reported that it conducted precision strikes in response to a drone strike last Wednesday against an illegal Washington Defense Forces military base facility near the town of Hasakeh that killed one US soldier and injured six others.
Washington has at least a dozen bases in Syria, mostly in the oil and gas fields in the northeastern Al Jazeera region, mainly in Hasakeh, while maintaining one in the Tanef area on the border with Iraq to prevent any land communications between them two countries.
The Damascus government has repeatedly condemned this presence, which it has described as an occupation, affirming that the US military’s actions in Syria encourage terrorist activities and aim to destabilize the country and plunder its wealth.
