Following Green Day, the Osheaga Festival announced the two additional headliners for its 17th edition this morning. SZA and Noah Kahan, recently nominated for a Grammy, will perform at Parc Jean-Drapeau.

Noah Kahan is from Strafford, Vermont. He had great success with his song Hurt Somebody. The musician has more than 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify. In the past, he has collaborated with Kacey Musgraves, Zach Bryan and Post Malone. The artist will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on December 2nd. He will play at Osheaga on August 2nd.

For her part, SZA is the artist who has received the most Grammy nominations this year, with nine. She is one of the world’s superstars today and was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Her real name is Solána Rowe and she grew up in New Jersey. As the first artist signed to Kendrick Lamar’s label (Top Dawg Entertainment), she took part in Osheaga back in 2015. She will close Osheaga on Sunday, August 4th.
On Saturday evening, the Osheaga Festival welcomes the masters of punk rock: Green Day. It will be the first concert in Montreal for Billie Joe Armstrong’s band since 2017. The group subsequently sold out the Bell Center. Last Sunday, the musicians played at halftime of the Gray Cup final, won by the Montreal Alouettes.
