To get people excited about the performance of their smartphones, the Honor brand recently launched a photo competition. Under the title “Honor Magic Moments 2023” new image creators are to be discovered: You! The competition thus honors the best talents in selected countries and regions. An international jury awards a total of 59 prizes for the best photos. 6 themes are proposed for the occasion: On the Road, Protection, Us, On the Ground, Your Story and Video. The topic on the way is dedicated to natural landscapes or local customs. The theme of protection appeals to the protection of nature, the environment, births, protected species, minorities or secret places. The We theme concerns photos in which we can feel emotions and memories, see portraits or group photos.
Snapshot theme should include stolen photos or unique moments. The Your Story theme consists of a series of 3) 9 photos that tell a story (social, personal development, event) and finally the Video theme allows you to show the beauty of the world around us in short videos .
The best will be rewarded
For its international photography competition Honor Magic Moments 2023, the brand is putting up a sum of 15,000 dollars for the photographer of the year. First place in a given category will receive $5,000. Second place gets $3,000, third place gets $1,000. On the recommendation of the jury, a prize will be awarded for an Honor Magic5 Pro smartphone. The Excellence Award recognizes 20 winners who receive an Honor smartphone from a numbered series.
For France, the Photographer of the Year receives a sum of €3,000. The most beautiful photo or video of the Award of Excellence wins an Honor Magic5 Pro smartphone, while the three people who have the jury’s recommendation receive an Honor Magic5 Lite 5 smartphone.
The jury consists of professionals in the field of photography: Laurent Baheux, French photographer, Ivan Macias, Latin American photographer, Yan Zhigang, Chinese photographer, Zhao Yin Xin, President of China Photo Press and Dr. Hou Weilong, technology expert in Imagine Glory.

All brands can only take photos in the “Conservation of Nature” category from phones or cameras. For the other categories, they must be completed with HONOR phones (all models together), except for France, where all smartphone brands are allowed.
