Tributes for Takeoff have been inundated after the Migos rapper was shot “over a game of dice” in front of his uncle and bandmate Quavo outside a Texas bowling alley on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old, who is a member of the hip-hop trio, was shot dead at a “private party” when a group gathered outside the 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston at 2:30 a.m.
Houston police confirmed that one person was found dead at the scene at 1200 Polk, but would not confirm the identity of the deceased.

But images from the scene reportedly show the rapper lying dead in a pool of blood after being “shot in the head” during the series.
The shooting happened hours after he posted an Instagram Story wearing the same outfit.
As news of the shooting spread, friends and admirers of Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, took to Twitter to pay tribute to her.
British rapper AJ Tracey paid tribute, writing: “Don’t take off! REST IN PEACE’.
Singer and actress Keri Hilson wrote: “Rest in Peace @1YoungTakeoff. Healing love for your brothers, family and friends. #gone too soon’.

Fellow rapper Russ tweeted, “Rip Takeoff,” followed by a prayer emoji, while YouTuber Nikita Dragun tweeted a picture of Takeoff.
City Girls’ Yung Miami tweeted her shock, writing: “Damn start” with a series of heartbreaks.
US rapper Almighty Jay commented on Takeoff’s Instagram: “Bro you were such a laid back gang you didn’t deserve any of this bro. I was just talking to you brother. That hurts.’
Radio host Darvio Morrow said: “When I was a kid it was a big deal that Tupac and Biggie got shot. You haven’t seen big stars get shot like this. Now it happens like every other month. I’ve never seen so many great artists killed like this. And about a game of dice?!? Pointless. RIP start.’

Officials confirmed that 40 to 50 people were at the scene when they spotted a man with a gunshot wound to the head or neck.
Two other victims were also taken to hospital in a private vehicle and it is unclear what condition they are in.
Takeoff had joined his uncle Quavo for a game of dice before the shooting, witnesses and law enforcement sources told TMZ.
Terrible footage from the scene shows Takeoff lying on the ground as Quavo rushes to his side.
A group began to gather around the injured rapper and tried to move him, but quickly dropped him to the ground as Quavo yelled for help.

Video of the incident shows several women yelling to “come in” while another man says, “I’m scared for you bro”.
Migos was founded by Takeoff in 2008 with his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset – who is married to Cardi B.
Offset, who wasn’t in Houston with his dad and cousin, celebrated Halloween with Cardi B and their kids.
Four hours before the shooting, Takeoff posted a picture of himself smoking at the bowling alley.
Quavo had also posted an Instagram Story driving around Houston with Jas Prince, who was celebrating his birthday.

Earlier this month, Takeoff and Quavo joined forces for their debut as a duo with their album Only Built for Infinity Links.
