Talking on the phone for more than 30 minutes a week may increase blood pressure risk TRT English

According to the British newspaper Chrona team off South China Medical University investigated whether there is a connection between using a mobile phone and the risk of high blood pressure.

The study, conducted over 12 years in the UK with more than 200,000 volunteers, suggests that using a mobile phone for 30 minutes or more per week leads to a 12% increased risk of high blood pressure, compared to less than 30 minutes .

The study showed that people who talk on the phone for an hour a day are more likely to develop high blood pressure.

It also found that those who used their cell phones for 30 minutes or more a week were 25% more likely to have high blood pressure than those who spent less than 5 minutes on the phone.

Cell phones emit small amounts of radio frequency energy which has been linked to increases in blood pressure after brief exposure.

According to the study, years of use and use of a speakerphone/hands-free kit were not significantly associated with the development of hypertension among mobile phone users.

The experts warned that phone calls must be reduced for reasons of cardiovascular health.
