Taylor Armstrong has left The Real Housewives of Orange County after just one season.
The 52-year-old star made her RHOC debut this season, becoming the first of Bravo’s Real Housewives to cross over from another show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where she was an original cast member.
She wrote on Instagram on Wednesday: “I enjoyed spending time with the ladies of #RHOC and am grateful I was able to give viewers an update on my life.”
I have made some real friendships that I value. I wish the ladies all the best for season 18.
PS I’m adding season 17 to my IMDb.’

She came onto the show with a bang when she revealed to the group that she is bisexual.
At dinner, Tamra turns to both Armstrong and another new cast member – Jennifer Pedranti – and asks, “Because some of the girls here don’t know you very well, tell us something we don’t know.”
Taylor says, “Um, I’m bisexual,” and jokes, “Are you nervous now about me being in the bunkhouse with you?”
She confirmed that she had a relationship with a woman for five years before marrying her first husband, Russell Armstrong, to whom she was married from 2005 until his death in 2011.
Taylor even joked about her five-year relationship with a woman: “Damn, I know marriages that don’t last that long.”
Taylor adds in the confession: “Most people are surprised to find out that I’m bisexual.” Probably because there are just stereotypes. I mean, it’s not something I’m spreading, but I’m open to all people who have a big soul and who can be loved.”
Armstrong was an original cast member of RHOBH, appearing in the first three seasons from 2010 to 2013. She later returned to the series as a guest in seasons four through six.
Her time on the series was filled with personal drama as her marriage to Russell Armstrong ended on camera amid allegations of abuse.

The reality star claimed Russell became abusive while she was pregnant with her daughter and said things got worse after Kennedy was born.
In her memoir Hiding From Reality, Armstrong describes Russell’s violent behavior during their marriage, which landed her in the hospital after he suspected her of sleeping with a Chippendales dancer during Lisa Vanderpump’s daughter’s bachelorette party in Las Vegas.
At the time, tests on her battered eye – the result of Russell’s punch – revealed that 40% of the bone supporting the eye was broken and that Taylor would need reconstructive surgery with titanium implants.
Taylor previously revealed that she wanted to be cast on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in the hopes that Russell would get his temper under control.
Russell took his own life in 2011, shortly after Taylor filed for divorce.
Outside of Housewives, Taylor joined the fourth season of the relationship rehab reality series Couples Therapy in 2014.
She also gained unexpected viral fame when a screenshot from “Housewives” starring Kyle Richards was used in a now-infamous “woman yelling at a cat” meme.
