Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen dominated the 2023 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.

The Shake It Off singer won 10 trophies, including top female artist, top female artist, top Hot 100 songwriter, top country artist and best-selling song for Anti-Hero. Country star Morgan Wallen has received 11 awards, including Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Country Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album for “One Thing at a Time.”
Taylor Swift accepted her wins in a pre-recorded message backstage during her The Eras Tour, saying: “Well, it’s unreal. The fact that you gave me 10 Billboard Awards. I speak specifically to the fans; None of this happens without you. Billboards is all based on what you listen to and what you’re passionate about, and I’m so honored that you made the Eras Tour so magical this year. You watched the film, you are interested in my new recordings. I love you so much. I’m the luckiest person in the world to have you by my side and to care about the music I make. So thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, 10 million times.”
At the ceremony, Drake took home five awards, while Zach Bryan and SZA received four each. Taylor Swift’s ten awards and Drake’s five wins are tied, both holding the record for the most Billboard Music Awards with 39 statuettes.
