An unconfirmed rumor has it that the American singer would have loved to travel to Texas every night to avoid sleeping in Mexican territory.
Many believe this information to be true without having any evidence to back it up. Even the host of one of the main morning shows on open television openly criticized the singer.
“Now he’s getting tired because nothing will happen to him even in a hotel. It’s okay that Mexico is unsafe, we know that, but it’s also an exaggeration,” said journalist Ana María Alvarado during the morning show Sale el Sol. by Image Television.
The push of the ‘Swifties’ for the Mexican economy
The American singer gathered around 200,000 people at her four concerts at the Foro Sol during the four concerts she offered as part of her “The Eras Tour” in Mexico.
This was the first time in his entire career that he included a stop in Mexico as part of his international tour, creating great expectations for the millions of Mexican Swifties who sold out in no time. There were four concerts in total, the last on this Sunday, August 27th.
The National Chamber of Commerce estimated the economic benefit to Mexico City at more than 1 billion pesos for ticket purchases, lodging, corporate purchases and sales at food and beverage establishments.
As with the visits of great artists to Mexico City, everything became news, from the day and time of arrival in the country to the special requests for his wardrobe.
This information usually includes the name and location of the hotel where the artist is staying, but in Taylor’s case, everything was handled with the utmost secrecy, perhaps to avoid crowds of fans, until it became a real mystery: where did Taylor come from Swift? sleep?

An international phenomenon
Regarded as the biggest international music star of today, Taylor Swift has legions of fans who call themselves “Swifties”.
