The American singer Taylor Swift broke the attendance record at a show this Friday (24) at the Allianz Parque in São Paulo. In total, more than 50,000 spectators came to the stadium to see the artist’s show.
This Friday’s performance was the first of three shows that the singer will perform in São Paulo as part of “The Eras Tour”. Taylor will be on stage again at Allianz Parque on Saturday (25) and Sunday (26).
On days with big shows, the stadium can accommodate 55,000 spectators when the grass is occupied.
The Allianz Parque press office reported that the previous attendance record was achieved at a Titãs show in June. At the time, the group became the first national band to fill the stadium three nights in a row, attracting 150,000 people.
Titãs will still have the opportunity to match the attendance record broken by Taylor Swift as they will perform at the stadium again between December 21st and 23rd.
On the other hand, Taylor Swift’s next shows in São Paulo are completely sold out.
Additionally, Taylor said during Friday’s presentation that he would like to return to Brazil.
