The cars belonging to American singer Taylor Swift’s entourage were confiscated by the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police (PCERJ) after they drove around the city with covered license plates. The information comes from g1.
A total of four vehicles were confiscated by officers from the 14th police station in the early hours of this Sunday (November 19th), but were returned after investigation. The cars are not allowed to undergo any modifications and remain at the disposal of the police.
The drivers of the vehicles reported to the police that they had covered the license plates under the instructions of the community guards. The measure would mean they could use the exclusive lanes without facing a fine.
The city guard said it would jointly investigate with the Internal Affairs Department whether the order came from the guards, explaining that they did not provide an escort for the singer, but merely accompanied the entourage.
