Watch: Taylor Swift and her friends watch Travis Kelce and the Chiefs play
Taylor Swift was joined by Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner and more as she cheered on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Taylor Swift has been busy in Kansas City: The Grammy-winning star recently made a “significant contribution” to a food bank in Kansas City.
Harvesters Community Food Network said in a social media post in July that Swift, 33, made a generous donation to the food bank.
“Thanks to a generous donation we received from the award-winning singer, it won’t be a brutal summer for thousands of families, children and seniors suffering from food insecurity,” the food bank wrote on Facebook at the time.
Although Swift made the donation over the summer, the post went under the radar. The news has now resurfaced as Swift continues to steal the show at Kansas City Chiefs games.
“We were pretty surprised,” Sarah Biles, the food bank’s communications director, told The Kansas City Star in an interview published this week.
The food bank was asked not to share the entire donation amount. But Biles said Swift’s hunger awareness was in some ways almost as impactful as the donation itself.
“Overall, it’s a significant contribution to fighting hunger and it’s so gratifying to see her choosing a cause like this,” Biles said.
Swift was spotted at the Chiefs’ game against the Denver Broncos on Thursday watching Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his teammates. The singer cheered on the Chiefs in a black dress and red varsity jacket the day after the premiere of her film “Eras Tour.”
Before their arrival on game day, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas speaks welcomed Swift back to town in a social media post Thursday morning.

Swift started the game in high spirits. The singer was seen chatting with Kelce’s mother Donna and making a kissy face for the camera for a photo with a young audience member.
Swift and Kelce made a big splash with their first public appearance together on September 24th when Kelce played against the Chicago Bears. The “Lavender Haze” singer sat in a suite with Donna Kelce and cheered him on to a 41-10 victory.
The game was the most-watched game of the week with 24.3 million viewers and ranked first among women ages 12-49.
