Taylor Swift fan who broke Louboutin heel at Eras Tour concert is selling it to raise money for his cousin’s cancer treatment

Taylor Swift broke one of her sparkly Louboutin heels and threw it into the crowd during her final Eras Tour concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, earlier this week.

And now the lucky fan who sustained the broken sole is selling it to raise money for his cousin’s cancer treatment.

Felipe Conrado, who had VIP tickets to all three sold-out Swift shows in Rio de Janeiro, is asking people to spread the word in the hopes that a collector can snag the unique piece.

“As many have been following, we are in a major mobilization to fund my cousin’s cancer treatment,” began Conrado, whose caption was translated from Portuguese to English by . “If you have anything to share or disclose, the link is in the bio!”

He insists that all proceeds go directly to his cousin Angela Conrado’s cancer treatment fund.

“I’m a HUGE Taylor fan if collectors are interested in making the jump.” [sic]100% of the amount will go toward treatment,” Conrado wrote.

“Thank you for helping spread the word, sharing, helping and spreading the word! We will win this fight.”

Conrado included a photo of himself smiling and holding up the sparkly red-soled heel, as well as pictures of Swift taken at the moment he dropped off.

According to her fundraising page, 36-year-old Ângela was diagnosed with melanoma after doctors removed a mole from her right arm and performed a biopsy.

In September, she underwent further surgery to enlarge the margin and remove the sentinel lymph node to determine whether the cancer had spread.

To prevent metastasis, Ângela requires “12 sessions of immunotherapy with the drug nivolumab.”

Unfortunately, the drug alone costs R$9200.00 (almost $730) per month and is not covered by the Brazilian healthcare system.

Ângela is asking for help to cover the costs of three months of treatment while she waits for a response from the Brazilian government to a lawsuit she filed against them.

She said it typically takes three months for the necessary parties to “respond” to a lawsuit.

She provided documentation confirming her condition on her fundraising page.

A clip of Swift swaying across the stage when her shoe broke during Monday’s show went viral and drew comparisons to Margot Robbie’s Barbie feet.

With only one heel still attached, the Anti-Hero singer held up her other foot to compensate for the height difference.

It was similar to the scene where Robbie steps out of her high-heeled slippers in the Barbie movie, revealing that her feet are still arched, just like the iconic doll’s.

After the show, Conrado first revealed that he was the one who caught the shoe by sharing a photo on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Swift had the Louboutin boots custom-made for her Eras Tour, which began in North America in March, and will soon complete the South American leg.

With three consecutive shows in São Paulo, Brazil, it ends with a bang this weekend.

Monday night’s performance was postponed after Swift canceled Saturday’s show due to extreme temperatures in Rio De Janeiro.

Swift delivered an emotional tribute to Ana Clara Benevides, who tragically died of “cardiac arrest due to dehydration” during the Eras Tour stop in Rio de Janeiro on Friday.

While seemingly paying her respects to her late fan, 23, the chart-topping global superstar sang her heartbreaking ballad “Bigger Than the Whole Sky,” which is about the grief of untimely loss, as the second surprise song of the show.

While she endured an emotional few days, which included the fatal knife attack on a 25-year-old Swiftie named Gabriel Milhomem Santos and the death of superfan Ally Anderson after a five-year battle with cancer, she was a 12-time Grammy winner visibly exhausted as she mourned the recent tragedies in her community.

“Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye / You were bigger than all the sky / You were more than just a little while,” Swift sang, causing those in attendance to sob from their seats. “I’ll never meet / What could have been would have been / What should have been you / What could have been would have been you.”

The Amsterdam actress’s voice trembled as she tried to sing through the lyrics: “Did someone take you by force because I didn’t pray?”

Other emotional verses included: “Afterwards no more words appear to me. Salt pours out of my eyes and into my ears. Every single thing I touch becomes sick with sadness.”

On Friday, Benevides fainted in the front row and was resuscitated by doctors at the scene, but they were unable to revive her.

She was transported to a hospital where she suffered a second cardiac arrest and died.

At the start of the show, Swift, who had to postpone Saturday’s show due to oppressive temperatures, thanked everyone in attendance who braved the record-breaking heat and rain to support her.

“How lucky do you have to be to have 65,000 people dancing with you in the pouring rain?” she asked the crowd. “I have never had the opportunity to go to Brazil on a tour and you have been so supportive since the beginning of my career.”

Swift continued, “I love you so much and I’m so excited to see your faces tonight, you have no idea.”

Their second show, which marks their first since Benevides’ death, comes at a time when Brazil is experiencing an unprecedented heatwave and fans were reportedly not allowed to bring water to the highly anticipated concert despite the sweltering temperatures.

After Swift’s performance on Friday, fans claimed they were banned from bringing water into the venue, although this has not been confirmed.

Footage from her first concert in Brazil showed Swift begging stadium staff to give her fans water. At some point during the show, the singer stopped the performance and threw a water bottle into the crowd.

A frightening clip shared on TikTok appeared to show Swift struggling to breathe as temperatures in the arena soared to over 37C. In the 11-second clip, Swift can be seen quickly taking seven breaths before launching into another of her hits.

“I can’t believe I’m writing these words, but with your heartbreak I say we lost a fan before my show tonight.” “I can’t tell you how devastated I am about this,” Swift wrote after learning of Benevides’ death

Later that evening, Swift spoke about her fan’s tragic death, writing that she was “devastated” by the news.

“I want to say now that I feel this loss deeply and my heartbreak goes out to her family and friends.” “This is the last thing I ever thought when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil. “

“I won’t be able to talk about it on stage because I feel overwhelmed with grief if I even try to talk about it.”

The star ultimately decided to postpone the appearance due to the “extreme temperatures.”

“I’m writing this from my dressing room at the stadium. “Due to the extreme temperatures in Rio, the decision has been made to postpone tonight’s show,” she wrote via Instagram Story.

“The safety and well-being of my fans, fellow artists and crew must always come first.”
