After Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted on a date night in New York on Saturday night, the pop star’s fans predicted she’ll be at another NFL game on Sunday – but not a Chiefs one.
Jason Kelce – the older Kelce brother – and his Philadelphia Eagles team are also in the Big Apple this weekend to play the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon.
And in another twist, Swift is an Eagles fan — even though he’s been cheering on Travis and the Chiefs in recent weeks.
In her song “Gold Rush” from the record “Evermore,” she references her NFL team with the line, “I see myself walking across your hardwood floors with my Eagles t-shirt hanging on the door.”
Some fans claimed she was referring to the band The Eagles, but the pop star herself cleared up the confusion at her show in Philadelphia in May this year.

“I don’t know how big the debate was, but I saw it,” Swift said. “I have a text that says, ‘With my Eagles t-shirt hanging on the door.’
“I saw some people wondering if it was the band The Eagles or the team The Eagles, and I love the band The Eagles, but guys, come on. “I’m from Philly. “Of course it’s the team.”
The clip of Swift’s statement went viral and was even shared on the NFL’s official Twitter account.
The Swiftie fanbase went into overdrive late Saturday night after pictures of her and Travis surfaced.
“If Taylor Swift shows up to the Eagles vs. Jets game tomorrow in Eagles gear I will be sooooo obnoxious,” one fan said.
Another wrote: “Imagine this: Travis and Taylor in a suite at MetLife being cute as hell while watching Jason (and the Eagles) play the Jets on Sunday afternoon.”
Another Swift fan said, “Wait, I hope they go to the Eagles game tomorrow…”The smile would be so huge.”
Travis and Jason are close – they co-host a podcast called “New Heights” where they discuss the weekly events of the NFL season.
Swift was at MetLife Stadium in New York on October 1 to cheer on Travis and the Chiefs against the Jets. Kelce’s team won that game 23-20.
Ironically, Swift would have been cheering for Travis and the Chiefs when they beat Jason and the Eagles in the Super Bowl earlier this year.
Swift last saw Kelce and the Chiefs play on Thursday night in Kansas City when they beat the Denver Broncos 19-8.
