Taylor Swift fans are furious after biographer Omid Scobie claims in his controversial book Endgame that the pop star declined an invitation to perform at King Charles’ coronation

Taylor Swift fans are embroiled in the Omid Scobie scandal after the royal biographer claims the international superstar snubbed King Charles at his coronation.

Fans of the pop star, called Swifties, are known to vigorously defend the singer from any negative claims against her and Omid, 42, is the latest to feel her wrath.

In his latest book, Endgame, Omid claimed the 33-year-old pop icon turned down an offer to perform at King Charles’ coronation in May, ignoring the fact that she was playing a show in America as part of her sold-out Eras Tour performed.

One outraged fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Look at this completely shameless lie.”

“Taylor Swift was in the middle of her Eras tour – I was at the show in Nashville the night of the coronation.”

Swifties was also quick to point out that the Shake it Off singer had also turned down a handwritten offer from Meghan Markle to appear on her podcast – which wasn’t mentioned in Scobie’s explosive book.

Scobie noted that other musicians also declined invitations to perform at the coronation, making it a “challenge” for organizers to find performers for the event.

One person warned: “He really, really, really doesn’t want to start with Taylor.” He thought the royal family was tough. He hasn’t seen what angry Swifties can do. “Should have asked someone, dude.”

The point was proven after hordes of Swifties took to X to share their disgust.

Another wrote: “Omid Scobie hasn’t learned to never annoy the Swifites or always tell the truth.” “It’s really stupid to lie about an easily verifiable fact.”

The royal reporter is currently in the spotlight after refusing to apologize to the two royals. The Dutch version of his book claimed there were “concerns” about Prince Archie’s skin color – after both Endgame translators insisted the names were in the manuscript sent to them.

He placed the blame squarely on the publisher in the Netherlands – denying that it was part of a money-grabbing “stunt” to distribute more copies worldwide, declaring: “I have never submitted a book in which these names appeared.”

This comes after it was revealed that Buckingham Palace is now considering “all options” – including legal action – over the royal race row, which has been fueled by Omid’s “toxic” new book on the monarchy.

Legal experts have also suggested that Harry and Meghan should sue the author of “Endgame” for invasion of privacy after he revealed he had seen the names in letters exchanged between Meghan and King Charles III. were exchanged.

The Sussexes’ most popular royal reporter has been accused of “virtually confirming” the names during his first British television appearance on ITV’s This Morning on Thursday.

He began by denying that he was “Meghan’s mouthpiece,” Omid didn’t give a mea culpa or apologize for the mistake and when asked if he was upset, he said, “I’m obviously frustrated.” I wouldn’t say I’m upset about it.’

He continued: “But the reality is that this is information that is not only available to me.” Journalists on the other side of Fleet Street have long known these names. We all follow a certain code of conduct when it comes to talking about it.

“It’s frustrating that what’s happening in the Netherlands now is what’s happening with the book, which was obviously immediately withdrawn and is now being republished, and I’m glad to hear that.” But for me I can only talk about the English version of the book that I wrote and produced.”

But royal experts, including several senior journalists, told Web today that Omid is wrong to believe the names are common knowledge, and some doubt the names can be accurate.
