Taylor Swift is fleeing Australia on her private jet after her father was accused of attacking a local photographer on a Sydney wharf following her recent Eras concert

Taylor Swift was spotted leaving Australia on her private jet on Tuesday after her father Scott was accused of attacking a local photographer.

The American singer's private jet was seen leaving Sydney Airport on Tuesday morning, just hours after her final Eras tour concert in the city on Monday night.

Her departure comes just hours after her father Scott, 71, was accused of attacking Ben McDonald, 51, at a ferry dock in the suburb of Neutral Bay about 2.30am on Tuesday, after the Australian leg of her Eras tour ended .

Taylor's team said Scott allegedly punched an Australian photographer in the face after he “threatened to throw a female employee into the water.”

Taylor and Scott had traveled from Homebush on a luxury superyacht called the Quantum before the alleged attack.

A spokeswoman for Taylor Swift told Chron Australia the photographers were “aggressive.”

“Two individuals aggressively pushed toward Taylor, grabbed her security guards and threatened to throw a female staff member into the water,” she said.

However, Mr McDonald – the chief executive of Matrix Media Group – branded the statement “complete nonsense” and said the only woman at the scene was Taylor.

“That’s the kind of bull I would expect,” he said.

“Which woman was that? The only one there was Taylor.'

Mr McDonald said the altercation was caught on camera and did not show the photographers behaving aggressively.

North Shore Police Command has launched an investigation into the alleged incident.

The photographer previously accused Scott of “attacking” him as he left the superyacht with Taylor.

Originally thinking it was a security guard, he was shocked when he realized the alleged attacker was the pop star's father.

Mr McDonald also said he did not know what triggered the alleged attack.

“In the 23 years I’ve been photographing, I’ve never seen anything like this,” he said.

“She got out of the boat and walked towards security guards who were holding umbrellas in our faces.”

Footage of the alleged incident showed Taylor and her father coming up from the wharf with large umbrellas blocking the view.

Mr McDonald began shooting when a security guard asked him not to touch the umbrella.

The camera shook and there was movement behind the umbrella.

A security guard was heard saying: “That wasn’t me, that wasn’t me.”

Mr McDonald asked: “Who was that?”

He then went to The Rocks police station and reported the alleged incident.

Mr McDonald did not require medical treatment and is not expected to suffer any permanent injuries, but does have “very sore spots” on the left side of his face.

Scott was a fixture by his daughter's side during her sold-out Eras tour.

He was praised for handing out sandwiches to fans in the middle of a show in Sydney, saying: “Help yourself.”

Additional tickets were released the day before Taylor's first show in Melbourne earlier this month, but most had limited views of the stage.

Scott went around handing out VIP passes so eager fans could get access to better seats.
