Although opening act Sabrina Carpenter's set was canceled, Swift ultimately took the stage shortly after the scheduled time of 7:30 p.m.
Looking on proudly was her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who caused a stir in the crowd as he arrived to proudly watch his pop star lover do what she does best.
In videos shared on social media, the NFL star was seen entering the stadium before finding his seat in a special VIP box.

Travis opted for a chic blue patterned shirt and matching shorts, along with a pair of white sneakers.
He walked through the crowd applauding before being led to his VIP seat, where he beamed as he watched Taylor's performance.

A statement from Accor Stadium issued just before 6pm told concertgoers that the three-hour show had been delayed.
“Please note that the start of the show has been delayed due to weather,” it said.
“Remain masked until further notice and follow venue screens and staff instructions.”
“Stay safe and remember to be kind to those around you.”

Earlier, a man's voice could be heard over a loudspeaker in the stadium telling fans that lightning had struck 10 km away and ticket holders had to be evacuated.
Following the announcement, a stream of concertgoers, most wearing plastic rain ponchos, were seen moving into the covered areas of the stadium.
The Accor Stadium had announced that the show would go ahead unless there were “severe weather conditions that could affect the safety of artists and visitors.”
“I'm just really nervous about the rain. It's pretty clear here, but Accor still hasn't announced when the show will start,” one Sydney Swiftie, Annabelle, told Chron Australia before the show began.
“I’m just a little stressed about the noise curfew and everything.”
It is understood there will be a curfew at Accor Stadium from 11pm. The shows on Swift's Eras Tour last just under three and a half hours.
Taylor relaxed before the show as she and boyfriend Travis visited Sydney Zoo.
The pop star and her NFL star partner arranged to meet at the 16.5-acre site earlier this week ahead of Swift's three concerts in Australia's largest city, when they were even spotted petting a baby kangaroo.

The two-story hotel room is considered the largest villa on the property at 860 square meters and is located on the 88th floor. It offers stunning panoramic views of Sydney and Sydney Harbor through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Taylor's visit comes after she literally brought traffic to a standstill as she went out to dinner in Sydney on Tuesday night.
The global superstar shocked onlookers at Pellegrino 2000, a neighborhood trattoria in Surry Hills.

Taylor is currently enjoying some downtime in Sydney after her Eras Tour took Melbourne by storm and sold out the famous MCG for three days.
Swift will perform four shows in Sydney from Friday, February 23rd to Monday, February 26th.
