Another day, another story from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
This time, Swifties, as the singer’s fans are called, are talking about a photo in which she lovingly kisses her rumored boyfriend.
Here’s how it all happened.
Swift was again spotted in a suite over the weekend cheering on Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs football team.
On Monday, Chariah Gordon, who is dating Kelce’s teammate Mecole Hardman Jr., posted three photos with Swift on Instagram.
In the first photo, the two couples can be seen posing together. The third photo shows Swift and Gordon hugging.
What caused the biggest stir, however, was the second photo, in which Swift can be seen planting a kiss on Kelce’s cheek.
The pop star and the tight end still haven’t officially announced they are official, but their appearances and public displays of affection speak volumes.
Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, told People magazine that Swift was “a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman.”
“I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor when I first met her,” said the elder Kelce, who was recently filmed chatting with Swift at Arrowhead Stadium while his son played. “We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room she gets up to get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles and cans and plates that are lying around. Because in the suites everyone gets things and you empty them wherever you can.”
Ed Kelce added, “I don’t think she got the diva memo.”
“She didn’t get the spoiled musician,” he said. “She doesn’t know how to do it.” And that really said a lot to me.”
Given that Swift was also spotted having a warm chat with mom Kelce, it seems like she has her parents’ approval. Donna Kelce recently told CNN that she’s OK with “whoever Travis loves” about a future daughter-in-law.
“It doesn’t matter who he picks,” she said. “As long as he’s happy, I don’t care.”
