Taylor Swift was “so moved” to learn how she made 2023 a memorable year for a single mother and her nine-year-old daughter.
In a TikTok video uploaded on Tuesday, a fan named Giny spoke directly to Swift about how she and her child bonded over their mutual admiration for the 34-year-old singer.
“Earlier today [my daughter and I] “We were talking about how good this year was,” Giny began.
“And she said, ‘Mom, I’ve had more fun with you this year than ever before.’ And I know why. That’s because we had so much fun being around you.”
Although they didn't manage to see Swift on tour, the mother-daughter duo enjoyed watching her Eras Tour concert film in theaters and at home.

The film has grossed over $100 million at the global box office and recently became available to rent on Amazon Prime Video, giving fans who couldn't get tickets a chance to experience the show.
“For my daughter to sit there and say, 'I had the best year with you.' I am a single mother. “I work every day,” she said.
Swift's influence on Giny's relationship with her daughter has only made her a bigger fan – she even went so far as to say she would “take a bullet” for the hitmaker.
Giny continued, “This means so much to me.” Even more than my love for you… I didn't think it could be anything more, but hearing that from my daughter's mouth. Girl, I'll take a bullet for you.'
She created the TikTok in hopes that Swift would come across it and see the positive impact she has on her fans' lives.
“I just wanted you to know that you changed my mother's heart and brought my daughter and I closer.”
In what may have been another shining moment for Giny, Swift saw her video on Thursday and left a heartfelt message in the comments section.
“You just reminded me why this year was so special.” I am so touched by what you said. It reminds me of me and my mother and the memories we made.
