Taylor Swift shares rehearsal snaps as she prepares to release four unreleased songs TONIGHT

Taylor Swift delights loyal fans with new photos and music ahead of her highly anticipated Eras Tour.

As the 33-year-old singer prepares to officially open her concert series, she shared a series of rehearsal snaps just a day before its premiere.

The photos were posted to Instagram on Thursday and captioned a pedicure emoji with the caption, “In my Eras era.”

The snaps showed Taylor in a range of outfits as she danced and sang on stage ahead of her long-awaited tour. They included photos of her sporting a bold red lip, a black sports bra and sweats.

Taylor also announced that she would be releasing four previously unreleased songs at midnight tonight in anticipation of her upcoming tour.

“To celebrate the Eras Tour, I’m releasing 4 previously unreleased songs at midnight tonight,” the pop icon announced on her Instagram Stories on Thursday.

The four tracks are Eyes Open (Taylor’s version), Safe & Sound feat. Joy Williams and John Paul White (Taylor’s Version), If This Was A Movie (Taylor’s Version) and All Of The Girls You Loved Before.

The tracks “Safe and Sound” and “Eyes Open” both appeared on the companion album, The Hunger Games, while “If This Was A Movie” was included in the deluxe edition of Speak Now.

Taylor will begin her sixth headlining tour this Friday, with the US leg kicking off in Glendale, Arizona before kicking off in Los Angeles in August.

The tour comes months after Ticketmaster’s disastrous pre-sale for their Eras Tour, which left pre-verified fans waiting in a virtual queue for hours and others unable to buy tickets at all.

The organization finally apologized to Swift and her fans, citing bot attacks and the massive demand to leave fans in a virtual queue for hours and others not to be able to buy tickets at all.

The controversy sparked a lawsuit from fans and an angry reaction from Swift herself.

Luckily, Swift still had reasons to celebrate last month after making history again at the Grammys.

Swift won Best Music Video for her romantic drama All Too Well: The Short Film. This makes her the first person to win the category with a single directing credit for her own music video.

“I can’t put into words what this means to me. For The Recording Academy and my colleagues to recognize me as a director and thereby recognize my work to try to reclaim my music…I’m blown away,” Swift tweeted after the win.

The Look What You Made Me Do singer also thanked “fans who wanted this.”

While she was absent to accept the trophy during a pre-televised portion of the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, her video co-producer Saul Germaine gave a speech.

“It’s been an incredible honor to share this story with you,” he said of working with her and the short’s stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien.

It was Swift’s 12th Grammy Award after being nominated 46 times in a career that spanned multiple genres and made her arguably pop’s most celebrated star.

In recent years, Swift has begun spending more time behind the camera, directing her music videos The Man (2019), Cardigan (2020), Willow (2020), Anti-Hero (2022), and Bejeweled (2022).

In December, she announced her plans to direct her first feature film from an original screenplay she had written.

Her project is being produced by Searchlight Pictures, the studio behind a number of critically acclaimed films including Nomadland and The Shape of Water.

While the storyline and casting remain under wraps, Searchlight presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield described the singer as “a one-of-a-kind artist and storyteller.”
