Taylor Swift wowed in a black mini dress as she enjoyed a girls' night out with friends Brittany Mahomes and Lindsay Bell in Beverly Hills on Saturday.
The 34-year-old pop sensation performed in California amid furor in her camp after The New York Times published an opinion piece suggesting Swift might be gay – despite her budding romance with Kansas Chief Travis Kelce City.
While Kelce and his teammates stayed at a hotel near LAX, his girlfriend and her new friends dined at restaurant hotspot Spago, images obtained by showed.
Kelce and the Chiefs are in town to play the Los Angeles Chargers at So Fi Stadium on Sunday, but that didn't stop their WAGS from enjoying a night on the town.
On January 4, The New York Times published an article questioning the pop star's sexuality – but the insinuation has already caused chaos among fans and, reportedly, Taylor's inner circle.

Anna Marks' essay for NYT suggests that Swift may be hiding her sexuality from the world due to her “affinity with queer identity.”
One of Swift's friends claimed that such an article would never be written about a male artist – even though Marks had previously written a similar article questioning Harry Styles' sexuality.
“This article should not have been written about Shawn Mendes or any other male artist whose sexuality has been questioned by fans,” a source familiar with the situation told CNN.
The New York Times is now the target of the ire of Swifties and the singer's personal friends. “I understand that they are not happy, to say the least,” Oliver Darcy told CNN about the drama.
Taylor has been in LA for several days now – and exclusively snapped her working out at the Dogpound Gym in West Hollywood.
Brittany Mahomes, wife of KC Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Lyndsay Bell, wife of KC Chiefs tight end Blake Bell, arrived in LA and were reported to have spent Saturday night with Taylor at her Beverly Hills mansion.

Taylor and her two friends sat at a table across from the bar area of the restaurant, and her security sat at a table next to them. She was out in the open for all to see.
Over the next three hours, Taylor and company drank and had their pick of delicacies like prosciutto pizza ($39), olive oil-poached striped bass ($68), Liberty duck breast ($80) and grilled Wagyu -Striploin from Westholme Farms ($115).
During the meal, can exclusively report: “The three talked more than they ate, sometimes appearing serious, sometimes laughing.”
One time, when Brittany and Lyndsay had to go to the bathroom, Taylor looked like she was on the phone because she was holding her hand to her ear.
Several times throughout the evening, Taylor pulled out her cell phone and appeared to check messages, most likely from Travis, who was staying at a hotel just 12 miles away.

Taylor's ERA tour documentary is up for an award at the Golden Globes on Sunday night
The hotel staff brought out a selection of different desserts for Taylor and co., but barely touched them. At 11 p.m. they decided it was time to leave and they all got into Taylor's vehicle and sped away.
Taylor's ERA tour documentary is up for an award at the Golden Globes on Sunday night.
It is unknown whether she will attend the awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton, which begins at 5:00 p.m. PST, or watch her boyfriend play the final regular game of the season about 15 miles south at So FI Stadium, which begins at 1:00 p.m. 25:00 starts local time.
The KC Chiefs have already secured their division title, so coach Andy Reid has said Patrick Mahomes won't play. It is unknown if Travis will play.
Since the team has already won their division, it makes no difference in the table whether they win or lose.
To protect his star players from possible injuries, the coach can give Kelce a break.
But he's just 16 yards shy of 1,000 yards this season, so some believe he could play until he hits the 1,000-yard mark.

People close to 34-year-old Grammy winner Taylor have questioned the morality of The New York Times after it published the article about her sexuality

People close to 34-year-old Grammy winner Taylor have questioned the morality of The New York Times after it published the article about her sexuality.
“There is a Taylor-shaped gap in people's ethics right now because of her enormous success,” a source familiar with the situation told CNN.
The content of the article is based on conjecture, and the insider questioned whether there was a double standard when publishing the comment.
The article, titled “Look What We Made Taylor Swift Do,” by one of the newspaper's opinion editors, looks at lyrics from the Lover artist's work that she thinks Sapphic might love.
“Anyone who considers Ms. Swift's overall artistry – the way her brilliantly calculated celebrity blends with her soul-baring artistry – can see discrepancies between the story underlying her celebrity and the story captured in her songs.” will find out,” wrote the author.
Marks gave examples of her appearance, including wearing hair colors from the Bisexual Pride flag or wearing rainbow dresses.
She also hints at so-called Easter eggs in the song's lyrics, which refer to staying in “glass closets” in Willow or a homage to lesbian artist Louie Fuller during her Reputation tour.
“In isolation, a single dropped hairpin may be meaningless or accidental, but taken together they are the unfolding of a ballerina's bun after a long performance,” the editor wrote.
“These hairpin turns appeared in Ms. Swift's artistic output long before queer identity was undeniably marketable to mainstream America. “They suggest to queer people that she is one of us.”

The New York Times is facing backlash from Taylor Swift's inner circle, who claim her recent opinion piece questioning the pop star's sexuality is “sexist.”
Taylor has explained her pro-LGTBQ stance as advocacy, telling Vogue in 2019, “Basically everyone has their rights taken away if they're not a straight white cisgender man.” Until recently, I didn't realize I was a pro-LGTBQ stance community that I don't belong to.

Taylor recently found herself on the wrong side of her loyal fans, the notoriously vigilant Gen Z Swifties who are watching her every move.
They have become increasingly angry about her excessive use of a private jet to visit her new boyfriend.
The Swifties feel their sky-high emissions are destroying the environment and have even set up an Instagram page to track their travels.
The Instagram account set up by her angry fans claims Ms Swift burned 138 tonnes of CO2 in three months. The singer would have to plant 2,282 trees and let them grow for ten years to offset the environmental damage caused by the jets.
Responding to previous calculations of her flying emissions, a spokesman for Ms Swift said: “Taylor's jet is regularly loaned out to others.” It is incorrect to attribute most or all of these trips to her.
Taylor began dating Kelce, 34, in September and since their relationship began, she has flown back and forth on her private plane several times to see him play for the City Chiefs or to go on dates with him.
In late November, Taylor traveled from her Eras Tour show in Brazil to Kansas, where she was spotted at Kelce's home before flying to London for the premiere of Beyoncé's Renaissance film less than two days later.
She then flew back to America within two days to watch Kelce play against the Green Bay Packers in Wisconsin.
