Taylor Swift The same guy who got arrested at her house this weekend showed up on her doorstep AGAIN this week – and I think the police showed up to deal with it.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … about the man who was tied up and dragged away on Saturday tries to gain access to Taylor's New York townhouse had the nerve to stop by her apartment again on Monday, which her security team and surrounding neighbors immediately noticed.
BACKBAR
We're told that the head of Taylor's security detail immediately called the police when the guy arrived, and our sources say everyone reported the same thing…namely, that he was just lurking.
Of course, considering what happened to this guy a few days ago, this is a big problem. We're told NYPD officers eventually arrived at the scene but couldn't immediately find the man – it didn't take long to track him down though…he was just around the corner.
According to our sources, they found him less than a block from Taylor's residence – and that's where this interaction with police occurred when officers threw him, handcuffed again, into the back seat of one of their patrol cars.
No question… we're told it's actually the same guy from Saturday – but we're not sure at this point what will happen to him or if any charges will be filed.
You'll remember…when he was originally arrested, cops said they caught him fiddling with Taylor's front door, which police viewed as an attempt to enter without permission.
When they ran it through their system, they discovered there was an open warrant for his arrest – this related to another case from 2017 when he failed to appear in court.
It goes without saying that him returning to the scene of the crime so soon after all of this is disturbing, to say the least – and one has to assume that law enforcement will be a little stricter this time around.
On the other hand, we know that celebrities have a hard time successfully deterring these types of people who seem obsessed with them…since the criminal justice system is often unable to protect them from potential dangers.

As you know… Taylor has a long, documented history with stalkers in her own career… including one who was arrested a few years ago for trying to break into her Manhattan apartment. It's unclear if this guy is, but already… he's not setting a good precedent.
Our new documentary, TMZ Investigates: Obsessed and Dangerous: Hollywood's Stalker Crisis, airs Monday at 9/8c on FOX…and we break down Taylor's stories and more.
