The beloved singer-songwriter told fans: “There’s another reason I’m really looking forward to this part of the set tonight. Because I’ve been planning something for a while,” read a report from People.
She added, “You know how I love planning things and how I love surprising you with the things I plan. It’s my love language with you – I plan, I plan, I plan and I can tell you about it. If you would direct your attention to the rear large screen…”
At that moment, the new cover of Speak Now entitled Taylor’s Version appeared, along with the release date – July 7, 2023.

“It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out on July 7th (punctual to July 9th, iykyk). I first wrote Speak Now entirely myself between the ages of 18 and 20,’ she wrote.
“The songs that came out of this period in my life were characterized by brutal honesty, unfiltered diary-like confessions and wild melancholy.
“I love this album because it tells a story about growing up, flailing, flying and crashing… and living to talk about it.
“With six additional songs sprung from the vault, I can’t wait to celebrate Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) with you guys on July 7th.
“Pre-order now at TaylorSwift.com,” she ended the post.

In February, they noticed that Taylor was wearing a midnight blue costume designed by Roberto Cavalli, who she worked with during her Speak Now era.
And before that, in January, after the release of music videos for the Midnights album, her followers noticed some other clues.
In the anti-hero video, it was noted that she was showing off the guitar she played every night on her Speak Now tour.
Along with her Bejeweled video, Taylor also recorded an instrumental of the song Enchanted from the album Speak Now.
Following the news, fans were quick to take to social media to share their excitement about the new versions of Taylor’s old music.

Taylor’s decision to re-record her old music follows Scooter Braun’s acquisition of her former music label, Big Machine.
The purchase allowed him to take over the rights to the masters of the star’s first six albums, which he later sold to Shamrock Holdings for $300 million.
Since then, Swift has released re-recordings of her 2012 albums Red and 2008’s Fearless.
She began sharing the new versions in 2021, noting that while she decided against working with the private equity firm, Braun would continue to make money from her music for many years to come.
