A celebratory handshake between Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes on Sunday while they cheered on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium sparked mixed reviews on social media, as some were put off by the gestures while others found it endearing.
Swift, 33, and Brittany, 28, were seen shaking hands with their respective partners – Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, 34, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 28 – during their 31-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers cheered.
“This is even more disgusting to me,” one user said, while another said, “Brittney is going to go after Taylor.”
The two “WAGs” clearly developed a bond during their time together in the stands, as they were caught showing off their skills together in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium during Sunday’s game.
Taylor, with a drink in hand, and Brittany, holding her 11-month-old boy Bronze in her arms, swayed back and forth as they moved their heads in time with each other.

The handshake appeared to be consistent with an on-field handshake that the reigning NFL champions used after touchdown drives in the game, as Kelce was seen doing.
