Tays Reis talks about relationships and professional future
Biel and Tays Reis met on the twelfth installment of the reality show “A Fazenda” (TV Record). The singers have been together for more than two years and are expecting their first child. Exclusively at iG Gente, Tays and Biel spoke about the difficulties of the first pregnancy, the change in routine waiting for Pietra, the future of both careers and of course gave tips for a lasting relationship.

With an eightmonthold belly, Tays from Bahia reported that while the pregnancy had calmed down, it hadn’t been easy. The singer recalls suffering a placental abruption early in her pregnancy, which made it impossible for her to continue with her active routine. Nausea, nausea, back pain, loss of smell and insomnia were also symptoms suffered by the former A Fazenda.
“I was sick of everything, smells, foods I liked, makeup… even Biel,” he jokes. The momtobe continues, “I can’t speak for the other pregnant women, but it was a delicate time for me,” she explains. These complications also changed the couple’s intimate side. When asked how his libido is right now, Tays replies, “With that big belly? Impossible,” he laughs. The artists said sex is now taking a back seat.
“I’ve always really liked it [de sexo]. For me it was every day, every hour before we did pietra. It was still possible up to the fifth month, but then it became impossible. I imagine that it will be more difficult for Biel », analyzes Tays.
The singer said he understands the situation and is also focused on the arrival of his first child. “We’re also afraid, with the ‘breeze,’ that it might harm the baby,” he says. Still on topic, Biel jokes that “he’s on vacation” as Tays “wasn’t resting before the pregnancy.” In a mix of insomnia, lack of libido and a sedentary lifestyle, Tays says she’s had some strange cravings so far. “Feijoada with fried mortadella and cocoa butter”.
Change of routine and family
To this day, Biel and Tays suffer from public distrust of their relationship. Tays says he’s already lost fans because of his relationship with Biel. While on the reality show, it was common for the two to be accused of being “interesting,” as if the relationship was a way for the couple to stay in the game or create an “image.” Biel explains that he sees the distrust as natural and that even the family members no longer believe in the couple’s future.
“Even the family had a block at first. My parents have always been very protective of me, but only we know what we’re going through. Then everything started to flow and most importantly we committed to each other and it was up to the staff to accept that.” The artist points out that everything is calm now and the relationship between the families is great. Tays, on the other hand, recalls that Pietra will be Biel’s parents’ first granddaughter.
With the pregnancy, the two had to slow down their careers a bit, but they didn’t interrupt the schedule. Tays continued to play shows until a few weeks ago and on the 17th she will release the song “Fazer O Que Eu Mandar”, a feat with singer Nêgo Jhá. Biel, in turn, launches a new musical bet on the first day of July, the track «Sentada de Milhões», in which the beloved also takes part in the music video.
When asked if they are thinking about more songs together, Tays dismisses this point: “It’s important that we also play the careers separately. We recorded a lot of stuff but that will be released in the future. Biel has her projects and I have mine, our only achievement now is Pietra,” says the singer in a good mood.
Another change that shaped the couple was the location of Biel’s office. The singer explains that he works in the backyard of the house to avoid noise while Tays rests. In addition, their house in São Paulo received another resident: Dona Celice, the singer’s mother, who is already with the couple to help her daughter in the first months of Pietra.

Tays recently commented in a publication by Biel: “I always knew that you would be the father of my child”. The two have known each other since 2016, but it wasn’t until 2020 that they met and began a romance on the reality show on TV Record. Tays revealed that despite being in another relationship, she found the singer interesting the first time she saw him: “If I wasn’t dating, he would see it,” he jokes.
However, the two said that in “A Fazenda 12” they could not imagine that the relationship would continue after the show. “We had the impression of nothing. We hit a low point in our career, on a reality show, you can’t think of that. But what happened between us was immediate identification,” Biel says happily.
The couple said they agreed to take part in the TV show to reposition themselves in the market. Tays explained that although he was part of Banda Vingadora, who released the nationally successful hit “Metralhadora,” he had not yet reached public consciousness. Biel was already “cancelled” by the public because of controversy in the last relationship and was looking for a second chance for the image.
Also in relation to Biel’s past, Tays rules out that there are injuries. “I have no connection to his past. when I was leaving [do reality] and I met the ‘CPF’, not the ‘CNPJ’, I discovered a person who respects me, who cares about me and sees me as a priority. In other words, it does everything I’ve ever dreamed of doing. Most men don’t prioritize the person on their side. Gabriel does it. So that was a key for me,” says Tays.
However, the singer says she still suffers from mean comments: “What pains me is that we have to prove it to others. I see comments: ‘until it lasted, right?’ But why shouldn’t it last?” he asks.
Biel assures him that the past is no longer haunting him. “Up until the ‘prefarm’ moment, I was in really bad shape. After the reality show, I put a brick on that past. I looked at it again, clarified the open points and put an end to the whole thing,” he emphasizes. The singer adds: “I lived everything that was necessary to become the man I am today. Looking at the past is growing. Today there is nothing left. I solved everything and dealt with the past well. “
Quit and learn from the pair
The ‘Tael’ couple happily say respect is the watchword in their relationship. They also cited the couples Lexa and MC Guimé and Virginia and Zé Felipe as examples, since for them these couples manage to live in harmony, separating fame from intimacy and glorifying partnership.
Recalling their split in May last year, couple ‘Tael’ say it was necessary to move away because the artists couldn’t handle each other’s universes. Which, in her opinion, was solved in dialogue. Speaking of what he’s learned during those years of relationship, Tays says there’s a need to talk to each other, explain feelings, and let go of ego and pride. Biel, in turn, complements and praises the importance of respecting the differences that exist between the two.
For example, the singer remembers that he is Catholic and his lover is Protestant, yet they naturally coexist with duality. The two joked they were “in a period of analysis” but ruled out forming a “soapopera couple”: “We’re a normal couple, with normal disagreements, but with a lot of love,” the new mom concludes.
