It hasn’t even been a full month since TI and Tiny Harris’ son, King Harris, hit the blogs following the unveiling of his new Chompers set. Now the teenager is making headlines again after a video of him offering a homeless man money for the Spicy Chips Challenge went viral online.

On Friday, September 8, the 19-year-old took part in the popular One Chip Challenge, which involves people trying a spicy Paqui chip and seeing how long they can go without consuming water .
In Harris’ video, he is seen offering a spicy chip to a homeless man outside a liquor store. As the recording continued, he instructed the man to eat the chip and go without fluids for “five minutes.”
“Fifty dollars, five minutes,” the boy said as he handed him the snack.
The homeless man is seen fighting the urge to drink the water, but ultimately gives in and loses the fight. Although he didn’t win the $50, Harris noted that he gave him $20 for his attempt.
“I gave him $20, man, just so you know, we don’t do that,” he said. “But he lost! Even though he lost, he still gave them – you know what I mean. I gave him the $20.”

Although it appeared Harris found the challenge amusing, many X users disagreed and weren’t shy about expressing their displeasure with the “Drip” rapper’s actions.
“You would think His parents didn’t raise him properly. However, there is always a sibling who has lost heart.”
“Let’s have a moment of honesty with @Tip. Sorry, Cliff, but your son has a problem. He needs discipline. He needs guidance. He has to mature. And above all, he needs his rhythm. Stop recording yourself saying and doing stupid things. You sound pretty educated when you talk, so I don’t know how that level of education and maturity didn’t trickle down to this kid. In the end he will run into a REAL guy on the street who will do him dirty. Bring him into the house and punish him. It’s cheesy as hell and reflects the household in which he grew up. He’s not hard at all. Teach him something before the street does.”
“Every Time I see something in his ugly guy – he’s either acting like a gangster, begging for facial features, or he’s being disrespectful.”
“Millionaire Artist need to teach their children empathy. That’s sad.”

A day before Harris took part in the challenge, NBC News reported that Paqui removed the spicy chips from shelves after a mother claimed that her son’s death was caused by his participation in the challenge.
As for Harris, he has faced public criticism in recent years for his out-of-control behavior, despite growing up in a household with two successful parents. Many social media users accused him of trying to be something he wasn’t, such as a “gangster,” after video footage showed him getting into a verbal argument with a Waffle House employee.
The musician was also reportedly arrested last September, but the reason for his arrest was never clarified.
As always, Harris wasn’t bothered by the backlash he received from the One Chip Challenge. He later uploaded a separate video of himself selling merchandise in the parking lot of his father’s establishment called “The Trap Museum.”
