On the eve of their official launch in China, the camera specifications of the Honor Magic6 and Magic6 Pro smartphones have been revealed by a reliable source. This announcement comes alongside Honor's presentation of the new Magic OS 8.0.

A day before the official presentation, information about the photographic capabilities of the new Honor Magic6 and Magic6 Pro models leaked. According to Digital Chat Station, the standard Magic6 model would feature a 50-megapixel main camera, accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle lens with the same resolution and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom.

The Magic 6 Pro is in the upper segment

The Honor Magic6 Pro would be characterized by a main camera with 50 megapixels, but a larger sensor of 1/1.3 inches. It would be equipped with an identical ultra-wide-angle lens and an impressive 180-megapixel (1/1.49-inch) periscope telephoto lens that also offers a 2.5x optical zoom.
The camera specifications of the Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design, a special edition developed in collaboration with the Porsche Design Studio, were not mentioned by the source. However, this model is expected to be equipped with the world's first 1-inch OmniVision OV50K main camera, complemented by an ultra-wide-angle lens and a periscope telephoto lens, the characteristics of which have yet to be specified.
