  • In summary, podcasts offer a variety of emotional and practical benefits for companies and individuals looking to sell in 2024.

They promote personal connections, trust and global reach while providing a versatile platform to promote your products and services.

Now let’s look at 4 levers to influence and sell podcasts.

Lever 1: Have a compelling voice

First, your entire podcast is based on your voice. It is therefore even more important than during a conversation with a friend or during a video shoot.

Additionally, voice is a powerful tool to capture and capture your audience’s attention.

When there are no visuals, decorations, eye contact, or even micro-expressions, voice is your only means of influence (in addition to words and language).

That’s why 90% of podcasters’ budgets go toward purchasing a very high-quality microphone.

Some even go so far as to retouch their voices in post-production or use vocal transformers during their live recording.

If you don’t want to reach this point but feel like your voice isn’t reaching its full potential, I recommend you This item.

I have described more than detailed 8 different methods to beautify your voice to play with many parameters such as tone, rhythm, breathing, flow, melody and intonation. Anything can help you make a difference.

A warm, engaging voice creates an emotional connection with your listeners and inspires them to remain loyal and listen carefully.

So take the time to perfect your vocal expressions to captivate your audience.

    Lever 2: Sincere Intention

Second, the intent behind your words is key to influence and sales.

Your audience will sense whether your intention is authentic.

Make sure every episode has a sincere intention to provide value to your audience. Show that you care about their well-being and success.

Additionally, this positive intent will build trust and strengthen your credibility.

But then, William, how can one work on this intention?

There are several ways to strengthen this personal intention.

First, start by increasing your energy levels. Without energy, your voice, your posture, and even the turns of your sentences risk putting your listeners to sleep. So be prepared!

Then it is your desire to share that can create that sincere intention in your words. It is this feeling and passion that we feel in many podcasters who speak from the heart about topics that concern them.

You too have the right topic for your podcast. For example, not all subjects rush to produce an hour-long podcast. Unless you are a great speaker and can make any topic exciting.

And finally, I think that the desire to sell and convert something can help you. Keep the end goal of your podcast episode in mind. Therefore, do not hesitate to present your offer or product. You are there to sell, embrace it fully.

    Lever 3: Create engaging content

Third, compelling content is at the heart of any successful podcast.

Tell compelling stories using the art of storytelling. Share practical tips and offer your audience real added value.

Listeners will want to come back if they find each episode enriching and useful.

Make sure you plan each episode carefully to provide a memorable listening experience. Just like a series on Netflix, you need to create linked episodes.

Additionally, and since the purpose of the article is to help you make sales, you need to create a conversion plan to convert your listeners into prospects and then into customers before the end of the episode. To do this, create one Sales pitch just as effective as creating a webinar.

Listeners who listen to your podcast will come through 4 phases : Features – Advantages – Advantages – Evidence (CABP method on offer).

    Lever 4: Interactivity and Community

Finally, create a community around your podcast.

    Encourage comments, questions and discussions.

Interaction strengthens your audience’s sense of belonging and builds loyalty.

Also, make sure you engage with your audience by allowing them to actively contribute to your content.

Engaged listeners are more likely to follow your product or service recommendations.

This advice is closely linked to the previous one. At the beginning of each podcast you can answer the questions from the previous podcast. So by taking 5 minutes at the beginning of each episode, you encourage your listeners to leave comments and listen to your answers in the next episode.

A combination that proves to be a winner for many content creators.

Conclusion on influencing and selling during a podcast

In summary, podcasts will remain a powerful influencer and sales platform in 2024.

By leveraging the four levers of voice, sincere intent, creating engaging content, and interacting with your community, you can maximize the impact of your podcast.

Build emotional connections with your audience, inspire trust and guide them to make informed purchasing decisions.

So get ready to influence and sell successfully in the dynamic world of podcasting.

    On your microphones! – Wilhelm

To continue selling during a podcast

What is the best equipment for a high-quality podcast?

The choice of equipment depends on your budget. However, make sure you have a high-quality microphone, headphones, and good recording and editing software.

Receiving negative reviews is inevitable, but use them as a learning opportunity. Stay open to constructive feedback and continue to improve your podcast.

How much time should I spend promoting my podcast?

Advertising is essential. Take the time to create quality content, but don’t forget to actively promote each episode on social media. Also use newsletters and online communities to talk about it.

Can I monetize my podcast from the start?

Monetization may take some time. First, focus on building a strong audience. Once you have a loyal following, explore options like advertising, affiliates, and proprietary products.

What are the benefits of collaborating with other podcasters?

Collaborating allows you to expand your audience and bring new perspectives to your content. Look for opportunities to co-host or share interviews with other podcasters in your niche.

Apple to Announce Its Highly Anticipated Augmented RealityVirtual Reality Headset

The end of an era: There is no longer a repair service for the $17,000 gold Apple Watch Edition, the same applies to all other first-generation Apple Watch models that came onto the market in 2015 – Developpez.com

Apple to Announce Its Highly Anticipated Augmented RealityVirtual Reality Headset
Apple announced that the first generation of Apple Watch, which was released in 2015, is now considered obsolete, meaning it would no longer benefit from the Apple company’s repair or replacement services. The affected models include the 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition, which cost between $10,000 and $17,000 when released in the US.

The gold Apple Watch Edition was a personal project of former Apple chief designer Jony Ive. This was Apple’s first attempt to compete in the luxury watch market, and the gold model only lasted a year before being replaced by much cheaper ceramic and titanium versions. The gold Apple Watch Edition has been worn by influential celebrities such as German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, artists Drake, Pharell Williams and Katy Perry.

On the software side, watchOS 5’s compatibility with the gold Apple Watch was discontinued in 2018. All other 38mm and 42mm versions of the first-generation aluminum and stainless steel Apple Watch, including the Herms variants, are now also deprecated. Apple classifies a product as technically obsolete if more than seven years have passed since the company stopped selling it for sale. The first Apple Watch was discontinued in September 2016, when the Apple Watch Series 2 and Series 1 models launched, meaning it recently hit that seven-year milestone.

Apple’s deprecated label doesn’t just mean the end of software support. The original Apple Watches (commonly referred to as Series 0) were never updated beyond watchOS 4.3.2 in 2018. This means the end of hardware support: the company will no longer offer parts, repairs or replacement services.

You could spend $10,000 to $30,000 on a Cartier Tank and still have a square watch and not worry about whether you can have it serviced eight (or 80) years later. As long as there are luxury watch manufacturers like Cartier (or Patek Philippe, Rolex, etc.), you can get first-hand repair services. If your $17,000 Apple Watch needs repairs, you can take the risk and go to a third-party repair shop, replace the battery yourself, do a custom mechanical upgrade, or wear it anyway if you feel like it . After all, Karl Lagerfeld hadn’t even configured his own yet.

The end of an era There is no longer a
First edition of Apple Watch specifically for Karl and other celebrities, worn by Karl

While the blackened Royal Oak is undoubtedly the watch most commonly associated with Lagerfeld in collector and enthusiast circles, it is not the only watch he wore throughout his long and storied career. He was last seen wearing a solid 18-karat yellow gold Apple Watch on a special gold bracelet that was never released to the public (the same one worn by Beyoncé and other celebrities). But the best part? Apparently he never actually configured the device, but did as Andy Warhol did and just wore it as jewelry. The image here, which comes from Instagram, shows it in pairing mode, and in numerous other photos Lagerfeld can be seen wearing the watch, seemingly completely discharged. The folks at The Verge even coined the term Lagerfelding to describe someone who walks around with a tinted Apple Watch on their wrist. This man’s legacy knows no bounds.

    Jony Ive and Apple Watch

Ive’s fingerprints can be found on all of Apple’s iconic products, from the iPhone to the MacBook to the Apple Watch. But its design DNA is arguably more present in the watch than in any other Apple product. Maybe it’s because it’s the first major product category introduced after Jobs, or maybe it’s because Jony Ive really likes watches (Apple COO Jeff Williams has referred to the watch as Ive’s work in the past).

Jony Ive joined Apple in 1992. After leaving Apple in 2019, Jony Ive, a famous designer known for his Apple-branded products, still worked as a consultant for Apple. But in July 2022, the separation between the two parties was complete.

On the occasion of the first separation, after more than 20 years in the company, the anecdotes surrounding the figure emerged. One of them looks at how I came to develop the Apple Watch and reveals some interesting, previously unpublished information. At this point, the public already knew that the Apple Watch was Ive’s passion project for Apple, but a Wall Street Journal report contained details that showed how intrigued Ive was by the possibility of continuing to work on the Apple Watch’s technology. The iPhone is a portable device device.

According to the report, some executives rejected the idea of a smartwatch because they feared such a device wouldn’t have a compelling killer app. However, Tim Cook approved the project and I started work in 2013.

This is what the Wall Street Journal says:

He met with the team almost daily, delving into the details and helping to imagine the signature hexagonal grid of apps that changed as people scrolled. He worked with Apple’s acquisitions team to hire his friend Marc Newson, the industrial designer who had developed designs for rectangular watches. He urged Apple to hire CEO Yves Saint Laurent to lead the business side of the project. The article further claims that some Apple executives wanted to position the watch as an extension of the iPhone, while Mr. Ive viewed it as a fashion accessory. The result would have been a compromise. What would Ive’s non-negotiated vision have looked like? That’s hard to say, considering the Apple Watch launched in both a $17,000 gold version and a Herms design. Interestingly, the report states that thousands of Golden versions remained unsold. L, little surprise.

The final interesting detail is this: The company sold about 10 million units in its first year, a quarter of what Apple expected, a person familiar with the matter said. Apple clearly had higher expectations for the watch from day one, but it took until the Series 2 for the wearable to reach the sales volume Apple was hoping for and help make it the smartwatch success it is today.

    The reaction of internet users

    Some chose humor:

What the hell am I supposed to do with all of mine now? Others said that the situation was completely normal: at some point it happens: the technology becomes outdated at some point and is no longer supported by the providers. Sad but predictable. The type of technology in this watch cannot run forever. Even if the watch itself doesn’t break, apps that require network support will eventually stop working. Others have highlighted the limitations of smartwatches compared to traditional watches: The difference between a Rolex and an Apple Watch is that a Rolex will still function perfectly after 10 years, regardless of complications. Others believe that Apple should make a goodwill gesture to those who paid so much: for $17,000, Apple should regularly equip them with the latest technology. And others think that the Apple Watch is just too expensive: I remember when the Apple Watch was new, I went to the Apple Store to look at it and somehow found myself talking to a man who had a T -shirt and shorts and a Rolex that cost more than my car. (Of course, that $17,000 Apple Watch, too, but the Rolex would have bought two.) At one point, he simply handed it to me and asked me to feel its weight.

It was a strange few seconds.

Anyway: I still don’t have an Apple Watch, but maybe one day I will. But there’s no point in paying for the gold version*!

📰 First high-resolution 3D images of magma beneath the East Pacific Ridge – Techno-Science.net

Volcano models show that the architecture of the magma conduit systems between the Earth’s mantle and the surface and the way magma evolves through these systems play a fundamental role in the construction and development of volcanic edifices. However, due to the inaccessibility of most active volcanic systems to high-resolution imaging, the detailed morphology of the most superficial magma reservoirs and the relationship between the onset of magma upwelling and eruption dynamics are largely unknown. By imaging the magmatic system beneath the East Pacific Ridge at high resolution and in 3D for the first time, an international team led by Milena Marjanovic, CNRS researcher at the Institute of Globe Physics in Paris, is shedding light on the morphology of the magmatic lenses. last magma stages before lava eruptions on the surface.
The study, published September 29 in the journal Science Advances, shows that the shape of these small magma reservoirs is reminiscent of the processes of reloading and expelling magma, influencing the dynamics of future eruptions.

In a study published September 29 in the journal Science Advances, an international team including scientists from CNRS, the Paris Institute of Globe Physics and Paris Cité University presents new, high-resolution seismic images that shed light on the small-scale architecture of the network of the shallowest magma bodies located beneath an eruption zone of the East Pacific Ridge. These images are the result of a collaboration with the geophysics industry that enabled the use of a state-of-the-art imaging technique, and were obtained by inverting the waveforms of seismic reflection data acquired during oceanographic campaigns in 2008.

The study shows that these lenses, previously modeled as smooth bodies, actually have ridges and valleys that are interpreted as zones where the dikes (magma seams rising from the reservoir to the surface) are located. This particular morphology would be formed by the processes of magma recharge from the mantle and magma extraction to the surface. The repetition of these processes leaves an impression related to the concentration of stresses induced by the topography, contributing to the nucleation of the dikes and the initiation of the ascent of magma to the surface and, more generally, to the dynamics of subsequent eruptions.

Seafloor topography and tectonics (left) and 3D morphology of subsurface magmatic lenses (right) of a section of the East Pacific Ridge (9°50′ N).

By incorporating these new results into the latest generation of three-dimensional numerical models, it should now be possible to obtain a more realistic representation of volcanic systems, which will contribute to better localization of eruptions and thus improve risk assessment.

Bose upgrades its high-end soundbar to ultra processing – iGeneration

Everything at Bose is currently on Ultra: after headphones and earbuds last month, it’s now the high-end soundbar that’s entitled to this treatment. The manufacturer introduced the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar, a new product at the top of the product range that replaces the Smart Soundbar 900. Unlike mobile accessories, the name change is not associated with a price increase or a change in the product, so the developments remain limited and we are still announced at € 1,000.

Bose upgrades its high end soundbar to ultra processing – iGeneration

    Bose image.

For this price you get a large bar with a length of more than a meter, which Bose recommends pairing with a TV of 55 inches or more. The Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is still only 6cm high, so it can easily slide under most TVs without getting in the way. It further integrates nine speakers, including two points upwards for Dolby Atmos effects. Nothing changes in terms of connectivity, we still use HDMI eARC to connect the device to the TV, as well as an Ethernet socket or WiFi for AirPlay 2 compatibility, Spotify Connect or even voice assistants, Alexa or Google to choose from.

What is changing is the introduction of a dialogue mode based on AI that promises to increase the volume of voices without removing the other sound effects. This mode is currently exclusive to the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar; the brand’s other models do not benefit from this. Unless we are mistaken, this is the only innovation announced by the manufacturer, but it is still quite light. If you’re interested in this soundbar, the older version is currently $755, which probably makes it a better choice, at least while the deal is live.

Like the old model, this new soundbar is available in white, certainly less sensitive to dust. As always, the top is covered with glass (Bose picture).

The Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is on sale now and Bose promises deliveries as early as October 5th. Amazon also has it in stock, but is quoting deliveries between October 3rd, tomorrow and… December 11th. Suffice to say, it’s probably better to visit the manufacturer’s website if you’re in a hurry.

Apple The card is slowly being forgotten – notebookcheckbiz

Apple The card is slowly being forgotten – notebookcheck.biz

The Apple Card was launched a little over four years ago as a joint initiative between Apple and Goldman Sachs. The global smartphone market was already relatively saturated at the time (it is even more saturated today) and this foray into banking announced by Apple was seen by many as a bold move that could well lead to a positive outcome. In fact, Samsung even decided to launch a very similar product shortly after, hoping to jump on the same bandwagon.

Originally the card was only available in the US and you had to own an iPhone to order it, let alone use it. Nevertheless, the first reception was more than warm. As is often the case with Apple products, it didn’t take long for some design flaws to emerge, leading to some annoyance towards the company – and yet the sky still seemed blue and free of any worrying signs. In 2021, it was reported that the Titan credit card had around 3 million users, a satisfactory number, although not a record.

Then the hype train stopped. Apple paid little attention to the card in 2022 and the same was true in 2023. There were no announcements or rumors that Apple was taking steps to introduce the card in other markets; Everything was very quiet, so it seemed like something wasn’t going quite as planned. A few months ago, this sentiment was reinforced by reports that Apple and Goldman Sachs were on the verge of parting ways; Around the same time, it was reported that Apple was in talks with some Indian companies about launching the card in India. Neither rumor has so far proven to be accurate.

However, the overall picture is not one of resounding success and wonderful expansion plans, but rather a picture of “how to get this done without losing face”. While the rumor mill doesn’t plan on forgetting the Apple Car, and there’s no shortage of news about the Apple Vision Pro headset, the Apple Card could well join the ranks of iPods, the AirPort Extreme and other products that were at one point considered boring and it not worth developing further. Maybe it’s not profitable enough; It’s impossible to know the reasons because “what happens at Apple tends to stay at Apple.”

Google Pixel 8 Pro and Tensor G3 appear on Geekbench

Google Pixel 8 Pro and Tensor G3 appear on Geekbench with disappointing CPU scores ahead of launch – notebookcheck.biz

Google will launch Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2 on October 4th. Both smartphones will launch as the company’s latest premium offerings and will feature the third-generation Tensor chipset. Unfortunately, it looks like the Tensor G3 will continue to perform disappointingly in light of new leaked benchmarks.

Ahead of the Pixel 8 series launch event, the flagship device Pixel 8 Pro has now been spotted on Geekbench and shows numbers that lag behind those of the competition. The leaked image confirms that the device was tested on Geekbench 6.2 and returned a single-core score of 1,760 and a multi-core score of 4,442. That’s not great, but it’s still way behind its competitors.

For example, according to our database, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 achieved an average score of 1,976 in the same test. In the multi-core test, Qualcomm’s current flagship chipset delivers an average score of 5,149. In fact, it seems that the Pixel 8 Pro and its Tensor G3 are only narrowly outperforming this year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 recently. This is definitely in line with Google’s previous Tensor chipsets. That said, it delivers last-gen performance… However, for what it’s worth, the Pixel 8 Pro appears to offer about a 20 percent improvement in CPU performance over the Pixel 7 Pro, and that’s most importantly what matters to fans of the series.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus (or Pro+) is a potentially interesting combination of typical flagship and mid-range features in the same new Android smartphone currently available in China. It could soon be available outside of this market as it would be registered in another country’s database.

    Deirdre O’Donnell, published on February 10, 2023 🇺🇸

The Note 13 Pro+ is Redmi’s latest model with a 200MP/120W main camera, but it’s not a flagship, even with its updated SoC. Instead, its 1.5K curved display is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor from MediaTek at an affordable price.

Now the new Note 13 series models already seem ready to bring their potential flagship-killing capabilities to new markets, a new trick shows. It reportedly appeared in Singapore’s IMDA telecommunications database under model number 23090RA98G, a global version of the Chinese identifier published in an earlier version.

It was registered alongside the lesser-known number 23016RN0DA, which according to IMDA is another “mobile phone with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi” – albeit without 5G, suggesting that it is one of the variants of the Note 13 could, which are rumored to have even better connectivity price. As a result, it is now expected to accompany its flagship sibling in conquering new territories, which could soon include India and Europe.
