Ted Cruz predicts the Justice Department will indict Hunter Biden – so they can do the same to Trump

Texas Senator Ted Cruz said he believes the Justice Department will ultimately indict troubled First Son Hunter Biden so it can more easily indict former President Donald Trump in the future.

He told Fox News in a recent interview that he believes “they are planning to indict Hunter Biden because they really want to indict Donald Trump to say, ‘Look how fair we are.’ We have indicted both Hunter Biden and Donald Trump.”

Cruz, who is promoting his new book Justice Corrupted: How the Left Weaponized Our Legal System, argued that the current DOJ essentially runs a wing of the Democratic National Committee and is focused on Hunter’s drug problem — as opposed to potential corruption — around to protect his presidential father.

“This DOJ is trying to focus on Hunter Biden’s drug problem because it wants to isolate Joe Biden from the real problem of public concern, public corruption,” Cruz said.

Cruz argued that a key reason the DOJ is focusing on Hunter Biden is to demand equality when it comes to impeaching former President Donald Trump

Cruz cited ample evidence to suggest that the DOJ — currently led by former Supreme Court Justice Merrick Garland — has extensive material proving the president’s involvement in his son’s potentially criminal endeavors.

There have been a number of reports and recent whistleblower documents that suggest the President knew of and was involved in a number of Hunter Biden’s foreign deals that enriched the entire Biden clan.

Those ventures include a handful of large cash-out deals with members of the Chinese Communist Party, as well as Hunter’s infamous deal with Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, which paid the then-VP’s son a whopping $1 million annually, ostensibly in exchange for its stake in Biden.

Cruz said that with elder Biden in the Oval Office, the Justice Department “has completely transformed itself into the most political and abusive judicial and law enforcement apparatus our country has ever seen.”

He said the way the organization has treated the Biden family is irresponsible and if his prediction is correct, it will be an incredible “abuse of power.”

The senator, who sits on the chamber’s Judiciary Committee and has an extensive legal background himself, called the actions of chief honcho Merrick Garland “cheap.”

Specifically, he cited Garland’s dismissive stance on last year’s outcry surrounding a DOJ memo directing FBI agents to target U.S. parents who object to school board actions related to the continued masking of their children and teaching the pronounce critical race theory.

Cruz added that if Republicans win a majority in Congress in the upcoming election, one of the top priorities will be the impeachment of Attorney General Merrick Garland and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

In his book, Cruz also accuses the current administration of fueling an ongoing public reaction to the leaked draft advisory opinion draft, which indicated that the Supreme Court ruled Roe v. Wade would fall.

The President continues to publicly defend his son, largely arguing that he did nothing wrong – despite mountains of evidence, including an entire laptop full of troubling information, to the contrary.

“This is a child who became a child, not a child – he is a grown man. He became addicted – as has happened to many families, addicted to drugs. He overcame that. He’s built a new life,” Biden told CNN’s Jake Tapper of Hunter.

“I’m confident he is – what he’s saying and doing is consistent with what’s happening.

“And for example he wrote a book about his problems and was open about it. I am proud of him.’

Biden also appeared to falter on his promise to remain neutral when attempting to explain the background to his son’s potentially illegal firearm purchase — though he clarified that he “didn’t know anything about it.”

“He came by and said this thing with a gun by the way – I didn’t know anything about it,” the president said.
