Taylor Swift is at the peak of her career after having a breakthrough year that included a hugely profitable stadium tour and being named Time's Person of the Year.
While Swift is minding her own business, enjoying time with friends and attending Kansas City Chiefs games, Ted Nugent expresses his opinion about the musician and finds no positive words to describe her music.
“So I'm afraid to say that in this world that's gone down the drain in every way, I'm afraid of the success of Taylor Swift – and again, God bless her work ethic, God bless her musical dreams – but that is cartoon music,” Nugent said during his appearance on “The Joe Pags Show” podcast.
He continued: “I mean it doesn’t have piss or vinegar in it. There is no fire, there is no sensuality in it. For me this is all nonsense. And it’s the most popular stuff in the world, which is a disgrace to the music industry and music fans.”
Nugent said fans are “not looking for the fire of a ZZ Top or a Mitch Ryder in the Detroit Wheels or a Brownsville Station or an Amboy Dukes.” And I miss that.”
“Thank God I’m still here,” he added.
