CW, a 17-year-old teenager, has been arrested on suspicion of murdering family mother Yolanda N’Gaojia, police said Texas, United States of America. The minor is said to have attacked the parents while visiting the grave of her deceased son.
Currently, the defendant is being held without bail and is also facing charges of possession of a firearm without a license, a crime that carries a $5,000 fine.
According to ABC News affiliate KXXV, Yolanda N’Gaojia’s death occurred while the woman was visiting her late son’s grave on his 22nd birthday. The attack occurred at the Calvary Baptist Church Garden of Memories cemetery in the town of Killeen.
“I hope he gets the death penalty,” posted Kineh N’Gaojia, Yolanda’s ex-husband and father of their three children, on his social media.
Metropolitan Police reported that at the time of the report, officers found two bodies with gunshot wounds at the scene. The 52-year-old mother died from her injuries two hours after the attack. In the meantime, the other victim was able to save himself and was treated at the scene and released.
Texas law says the 17-year-old youth can be tried as an adult, a procedure already confirmed by police, while the young man is being taken to Bell County Jail.
