A 16yearold teenager was arrested this Sunday (19) in Buenos Aires in the second round of the Argentine presidential election on charges of stealing ballot papers from the ultraliberal candidate. Javier Milei.

🚨 In NeuquĂ©n they discovered a porcini mushroom that was smaller than Milei’s robot boletus.

Everyone is crying and being undemocratic.

According to a local newspaper, police were called after receiving a complaint that a voter had attempted to vote more than once. When the teenager was arrested, officers found several of Milei’s banknotes in a bag.

Voting in Argentina uses ballot papers that contain each candidate’s name and are selected by voters to place in ballot boxes.

In recent days, Milei began pointing out what could be fraud in Argentina’s electoral system, although the candidate’s team provided no evidence.

This Sunday he declared that his team managed to replace the ballot papers. “There may be ballots missing, but that’s because they’re in the ballot boxes,” he said.
