Tekashi 6ix9ine was brutally attacked in a Florida gym… Taken to the hospital

9:03 p.m. PT – A video has surfaced showing part of the attack. You see a man pounding Tekashi non-stop while the rapper does his best to defend his face.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was brutally beaten by a group of men at a South Florida gym … with injuries so bad that the controversial rapper was taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
lawyer of 6ix9ine, Lance Lazzarotells TMZ … the rapper was in the sauna of an LA Fitness on Tuesday when he was suddenly attacked by several guys without warning.
Lazzaro says 6ix9ine tried to fight off the fighters, but there were too many of them, beating him to a pulp before fleeing. Lance notes that 6ix9ine had no security with him at the time of the attack.
Gym staff heard the commotion and immediately notified a manager. Police and ambulance were then called to the scene and he was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
We received a photo of Tekashi from the hospital where you can see the injury on his face – with cuts and swelling. We’re told he also sustained injuries to his jaw, ribs and back.
The next step, Lazzaro says, is that he plans to call the Feds to make sure 6ix9ine gets the protection it clearly needs. Remember, he was released early from federal prison after colluding with authorities to put several cohorts of his gang members behind bars.
It’s currently unclear if the gym attack had anything to do with Tekashi’s collaboration.
