Even as we approach the end of October, the good weather could well come into its own again, allowing Quebecers to enjoy summer temperatures of over 20 degrees by Friday.
At least that’s what Environment Canada is predicting, which expects a rise in mercury and temperatures of 18 degrees in southern Quebec from Wednesday.
The influx of air from the United States is therefore expected to benefit the southern sectors of the province, Outaouais and Montérégie, including Montreal, which could break records on Friday.
Meanwhile, Tuesday’s weather in southern Quebec will present more or less dense clouds, but clearings will be more common elsewhere in the province.
The federal agency forecasts temperatures will be slightly above seasonal norms, ranging from 9 degrees in Saguenay to 14 degrees in the Montreal area.
On Wednesday, clouds will become thicker with steady showers north of the St. Lawrence, while temperatures will reach 13 degrees in Quebec and 18 degrees in Montreal.
Despite the cloudy weather, the mercury will continue to rise and temperatures could reach 20 degrees on Thursday and 22 degrees the next day.
