An unidentified object was reportedly seen in the sky over an area near Lake Michigan, forcing the temporary closure of airspace in that region on “national defense” grounds.

The news comes as three craft, including one described by Washington as a Chinese spy balloon, were shot down over the United States and Canada in a week.
