There is a new battlefield in between Fly And Warsawagainst the background of the war in Ukraine: is the exclave of Kaliningradwhich Poles will henceforth use the old name in their mother tongue Krolewiec. The application

The initiative came from the Polish toponym commission, which suggested the authorities stop using the “imposed name” Kaliningrad for the geographically Polish-owned area bordering Lithuania, but which came under the control of the Union Soviets after World War II. Kaliningrad is a strategically important region for the Russians, since the Baltic Sea fleet is stationed here in the port of Baltiysk. And whoever touches it, even if it only changes its name, is considered an enemy.
