Teresa Giudice was booed by the crowd at BravoCon 2023 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas on Sunday when she said she was not ready to reconcile with her brother Joe Gorga amid heated arguments between them.
The Bravo star, 51, and her husband Louie A. Ruelas, 48, appeared on a panel at Sunday’s event and she was asked if there could be an end to the ongoing sibling rivalry.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey leading lady said she’s “living this journey” and that “it’s all about family, respect and trust.”
Teresa told Joe’s audience: “I’m sorry – the chapter with my brother is unfortunately closed – it really is.”
The crowd at the convention booed the Paterson, New Jersey native because she was unwilling to put the past behind her and move on.

Teresa told Page Six on Friday that her estranged sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, 44, was the source of false rumors that her spouse Ruelas was romantically interested in Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola, 56, before their romance.
Teresa — the mother of daughters Gia, 22, Gabriella, 19, Milania, 17, and Audriana, 14, with ex-husband Joe Giudice, 51 — told the outlet that Melissa “came out” about Ruelas and Nepola .
“She’s the one who started it,” Teresa said, while Ruelas, 48, told the outlet that some people are “thirsty for attention.”
In a separate panel on Saturday, Melissa said that while it was difficult, she felt it was vital to her health and well-being that she and Joe not have contact with Teresa.
‘You know what? “It’s hard,” she said. “But I’m at a point in my life where you can try, you can try, you can try, but at some point you have to protect your peace and create a boundary, and I think that’s what I do and that’s what we do.’
The estrangement between Teresa and her brother erupted in the final season of the Garden State series when Teresa was accused of telling Joe that Melissa had cheated on him.
Melissa, who denied the infidelity allegations, and Joe subsequently did not attend Teresa’s August 6, 2022, wedding in East Brunswick, New Jersey amid the feud, sources told Page Six at the time.

At BravoCon, Melissa said that the estrangement — and lack of personal fireworks between her and Joe and Teresa — made the show’s 14th season “very different” than its predecessor.
“I think it’s different and better,” she said at a panel discussion at the convention. “There’s not a lot of communication… I think the fans will feel refreshed too. ‘I mean, weren’t you sick of it?’
Sources told the outlet last summer that despite the lack of contact between Teresa, Joe and Melissa, Bravo was interested in getting all parties back together for the show’s upcoming season, noting, “Why try to fix something if it isn’t.” Isn’t it broken?
“This is a great cast that has delivered one of the most successful seasons in franchise history,” the source said.
A second source said producers didn’t think it was a good move to cut Teresa or Melissa from the cast despite the ongoing divide.
“While it once seemed as if the show with Teresa and Melissa would not go on, it was ultimately decided that both women would be an integral part,” the source said.
Nepola, 56, has also denied the Ruelas rumors, telling US Weekly on Saturday that there is “no truth” to them.
“I wanted to suggest that we do something, like a podcast or something… because it wasn’t like that,” Nepola added.

On “Watch What Happens Live” last week, Nepola explained that she crossed paths with Ruelas at a hotel in Barcelona, Spain, where they were both vacationing, and that he praised her for the way she handled herself around her 26th birthday -year-old son Frankie, who lives with a brain disorder, suffered injuries after being in a car accident when he was 13.
“He had seen me on the show and knew my challenges with Frankie and my journey with Frankie,” she said.
She also praised Teresa as “beautiful” and “amazing” and said she believes Ruelas “really loves Teresa.”
