Teresa Giudice was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday night and underwent an “emergency medical procedure,” Page Six can exclusively confirm.
“She is recovering, is currently resting and thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes,” Giudice’s rep tells us, noting Thursday morning’s surgery was “non-cosmetic.”
She is due to be discharged from the hospital “within the next 24 hours,” the spokesman said.
Eldest daughter Gia Giudice revealed on her Instagram Story Thursday afternoon that the 49-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star had been in the emergency room.
“Such a soldier. I love you,” the 21-year-old wrote of a selfie of her mother wearing a face mask in a hospital bed.
“Pray for a speedy recovery,” Gia then asked her followers alongside a prayer hands emoji, before repeating, “Love you @teresagiudice.”

Teresa’s other family members, including brother Joe Gorga, sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, fiancé Luis Ruelas and their three younger daughters Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12, have not commented on social media about the hospitalization.
The reality star’s latest Instagram post, shared on Tuesday, was a salute to her co-stars from Season 1 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which premiered on Peacock and airs on Bravo.
She captioned the picture of the cast on a boat: “Can’t believe The Ultimate Girls Trip is ending tonight! I had so much fun on this trip. I hope you all enjoyed it!”
Teresa hasn’t publicly complained about any health issues lately and leads a fairly healthy lifestyle that includes yoga training and weight lifting.
In 2018, she placed third in her first-ever bodybuilding competition.
She told Us Weekly at the time: “That’s the confidence I felt after my kids. It’s the best thing I’ve ever felt since having Gia.”

The mother of four added, “My body has changed drastically from yoga, but this was even more extreme. It debunks the myth that you can’t look good over 40.”
In February, Teresa shared on Instagram that she had had a minor procedure to reduce the appearance of varicose veins, but noted at the time, “My legs look and feel great.”
The Bravolebrity’s last personal appearance was on Watch What Happens Live last week, where she revealed Melissa, 43, would not be a bridesmaid at her summer wedding to Ruelas.
Teresa was married to Joe Giudice from 1999 to 2020.
