Linda Hamilton, the interpreter of Sarah Connor in the films of the franchise terminator, joins the cast of the show’s final season stranger things.
The announcement was made by Netflix this Saturday as part of its annual Tudum event (a global pop culture event dedicated to Netflix movies and series held annually in Brazil).
The platform shared the announcement with a black-and-white photo of the actress upside down, a nod to the popular show’s famous “upside down” world.
We could see Linda Hamilton in the 1987 TV series Beauty and the Beast. Her role as an attack survivor – rescued by Vincent, a lion-man living in a hidden community in the tunnels of New York – had earned her an Emmy nomination and two more Golden Globes.

Fans of the series knew in February 2022 that Stranger Things season 5 would be its last. There is currently no official release date. Production was delayed due to the writers’ strike raging in Hollywood.
Netflix and the Duffer Brothers are already working to expand the series into a major franchise. They recently announced that an animated series inspired by Stranger Things has been ordered.
