Tesla tested the Cybertruck’s bulletproof capabilities by shooting the electric pickup with a submachine gun. Here is the result.
When Tesla first introduced the Cyvertruck, it claimed the electric pickup was virtually bulletproof:
The Cybertruck is equipped with an outer shell that ensures ultimate durability and passenger protection. Starting with a nearly impenetrable exoskeleton, every component is designed for ultimate strength and endurance, from the ultra-tough 30X cold-rolled stainless steel structural skin to the Tesla armored glass.
Of course, the Tesla armored glass famously failed the steel bullet test at the unveiling event, but Tesla is apparently still serious about wanting the Cybertruck to have a certain level of bullet resistance.
Aryan Jain spotted a Tesla Cybertruck in the wild that was clearly shot at in an apparent bulletproof test:

Tesla CEO Elon Musk commented on the sighting and confirmed that they shot the Cybertruck with a submachine gun:
We emptied the entire drum magazine of an Al Capone-style Tommy gun into the driver’s door. No bullets entered the passenger compartment.
While the CEO claimed that no bullet entered the passenger compartment, it looks like they only shot at the steel body panels and not the windows.
Tesla will host a “delivery event” for the Cybertruck on November 30th. The automaker is expected to announce full details about the production version of the electric pickup.
Musk has called the Cybertruck Tesla’s “best product ever.”
We can expect some data on the Cybertruck’s bulletproof capacity or at least a video of this test with a Tommy gun.
