This Tuesday (25), Thaila Ayala revealed a “paranoia” she developed after seeing a video on social media about hidden cameras in hotel rooms. The actress also showed how to find out if you are being watched through mirrors. Good Lord!
In Instagram Stories, Thaila confessed that the new fear came to light after she discovered that some hotels were using fake mirrors to spy on their guests’ privacy. Imagine a camera behind one?
Since then, the actress hasn’t been able to stop thinking about the topic. “Guys, the other day I saw a girl teaching how to check if there are hidden cameras in hotel rooms. And now I’m stuck in it,” the artist confessed.
“I just arrived at a hotel and asked, ‘Is this available? Where is it?’. And I started putting my finger on the mirror because there is a trick where you put your finger on it to see the reflection… Now I’m scared that there are cameras everywhere! Why I watched this video, tell me,” she confessed desperately.
Ayala then revealed the trick to find out whether mirrors are real or just a surface for someone to observe. “They say if there is this space in the reflection, it is a real mirror,” she demonstrated. What the actress didn’t expect, however, was that the mirror in her room would show a “shadow” in the reflection, which raised her doubts about the authenticity of the mirror.

On networks like TikTok and Instagram, many users are talking about hidden cameras in hotels and how to find out if you’re being watched. In some videos circulating on the platform, influencers reveal that you simply have to touch the surface of the mirror with your fingernail to check whether it is a real or a fake mirror. If there is a gap between the tip of the nail and the mirror image, the authenticity is proven. However, if there is no space, the mirror is wrong.
