It’s a really good life for that child. If nothing else, original. At just 11 months, Atlas Montgomery has seen more of the world than most people will in their lifetime, having traveled to 23 countries with his parents Becs Lewis, 29, and Will Montgomery, 31. It occurred to me that I could travel with them a child. “It seemed so unrealistic, but it’s not that difficult,” the mother told the South West News Service tabloid. The family of three, who live in the UK, have been touring Europe in a motorhome since the baby was six and using Lewis’ maternity leave until early November.
The journey of the 11 month old baby
“It was amazing – you could see every little bit of his development. “It’s great to only be able to travel as a threesome,” added Lewis. Atlas learned to crawl in Switzerland, got his first tooth in Norway and started eating solid food in France. The family also visited Italy, San Marino, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Norway, among others. The journey began in New Zealand and Singapore. On the way home to the UK, the couple bought a Fiat Ducato van for nearly €14,000 so Atlas could meet their mother’s parents. The woman stated that there is “plenty of space in the RV as it has a bathroom with a shower, ten lockers for storing rubbish, a sink and toilet, and two tables.” “Atlas has been to 23 countries so far and when we’re done there will be 25,” the mother explained.

The family documented the trip on their Instagram page, which they plan to show Atlas when he’s older. Before embarking on the trip, the pair saved money, sold most of their belongings, and ended their lease on a rented home. You have chosen to travel smart And on a budget that only spends about 4 euros a day on food. “We limited ourselves to one meal per destination, apart from Italy, where we were obsessed with all the amazing food!” said Lewis. So far, the French Alps and Luxembourg have been among her favorite destinations. But Italy is a different story: “We loved Italy for its culture and all of its history.”
