A man discovered with fatal stab wounds in a Manhattan subway car was previously the victim of a hate crime after he was attacked during a trip through the Bronx last year.

Tavon Silver, 32, was found unconscious on a southbound Line 4 train at the 14th Street Union Square station early Saturday morning and was later pronounced dead by police.

It has since emerged that Silver was stabbed in the arm in a homophobic attack last June — then on a northbound No. 2 train near the 3rd Avenue-149th Street station in Melrose, Bronx.

Silver and his fiancée had been on the train playing loud music when another man, identified as Runadieo Jordan, 52, homophobically insulted the couple.

After continuing the insults, Jordan stabbed Silver, leaving his arm badly injured.

Silver spoke to Fox 5 shortly after the attack and explained what happened during the incident.

“The next thing I know, I had a hole in my arm. “Like there’s blood all over the place,” Silver said. “It was a direct cut and he took a huge chunk of my wrist.” He literally severed my wrist. So if you look straight through you can see my bone.”

He described how Jordan stabbed him, causing extensive bleeding and injuring his wrist.

Undeterred, Jordan walked past the pair, continuing to use derogatory slurs while Silver lay unconscious on the floor.

“He passed us as I was lying unconscious on the ground bleeding to death. And he just walked right past us and he was like, “Here you stupid bastard,” Silver said.
