The teenager explained how the relationship began when the two sat next to each other on a school bus during a field trip.
From then on, the two began corresponding by sending messages on Canvas, a special app that staff uses to talk to students.
Eventually, the boy began missing classes and spending more time with her in her school office, according to court documents obtained by the Philadelphia Inquirer.
When summer break began, the two stayed in touch, this time via Snapchat.
The affidavit details how the couple’s relationship turned physical in June when the two had sex in Schutte’s car in a secluded part of a Pennsburg supermarket parking lot.

Another sexual encounter occurred in the boy’s bedroom in West Rockhill Township while the teen’s parents were out of town.
According to investigators, it was determined that one of Schutte’s earrings was left at the boy’s home and turned over to investigators.
The relationship was first discovered by a relative in July after they caught the boy and married mother-of-one Schutte kissing at their home, after which the teenager told his mother.
Shutte has been placed on administrative leave since July, when the Pennridge School District first learned of the allegations against her.
“While we refrain from making snap judgments about the actions of the prosecuted employee, it is important to reiterate the district’s stance against any inappropriate contact between a Pennridge School District employee and a student,” Pennridge Superintendent Angelo Berrios said in a statement on Friday.
“Such behavior will not be tolerated.”
