He adds that De La Cruz recorded different versions of herself saying the phrase “Bad Bunny Baby”. using a voice memo app in the bathroom of a friend’s house because it was the quietest room and sent it to Martinez.

The singer used the recordings in a series of opening tracks on Soundcloud and later included them in “Pa Ti,” which has had more than 355 million views on YouTube and 235 million streams on Spotify.

“Overwhelmed and Anxious”

De La Cruz’s attorneys allege that just days before the release of Bad Bunny’s latest album Un Verano Sin Ti last year, the Puerto Rican’s representatives offered to buy him the rights to the set for $2,000.

she refused and The album was released with her voice.

“Un Verano Sin Ti” was nominated for Best Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards, and the song “Dos Mil 16” had 60 million views on YouTube and 280 million streams on Spotify.

De La Cruz claims his recording has also been used in concert, arguing that its use amounts to “gross negligence, bad faith, and worse, an assault on your privacy, morals and dignity.”

De La Cruz says that since the release of Bad Bunny’s last album, thousands of the singer’s followers have commented on her on their social media accounts and spoken to her about the matter whenever they see her in person.

“This is what De La Cruz caused and is currently causing feeling worried, anxious, intimidated, overwhelmed and anxious”indicates the legal document.
