After testing in the UK, US, Spain, Australia and other countries, the 40hour week model will be tested in Brazil starting in November.
The implementation of the model in Brazil is carried out through a partnership between the consulting firm Reconnect Happiness and the organization 4 Day Week Global. The advocated change through the “redesign” of the working day aims to improve the quality of life of workers while increasing the productivity of companies.
Preparations for the experience begin in June and July in Brazil. At this point, those responsible for the initiative will meet with companies to explain in detail the pilot project, from the methodology to the expected results.
From September, quantitative surveys will be conducted to assess the key figures of the companies involved. The pilot will be put into practice in November. After three months, data on project performance will be collected. The process ends after six months when the numbers are checked again.
