The A Praça É Nossa comedian says she was threatened by Ana Hickmann’s husband

Comedian Mhel Marrer, who is currently working on the show A Praça É Nossa (SBT), claims that he has already been threatened by businessman Alexandre Correa, husband of Ana Hickmann.

The episode would have happened 11 years ago when she was working at Legendários, presented by Marcos Mion on Record. Mhel published for the first time on her social networks on Sunday (12) a video showing the possible intimidation against her by the businessman.

In the piece, a voice that appears to be Correa’s voice says to Mhel in a phone call: “You’re trying to take things in the wrong direction. Don’t do that, partner, you’ll get hurt.” “We’ll get hurt. It won’t be pretty.”

“If I had published it beforehand [o vídeo], no one would believe me. They wanted to say, ‘Ah, it was a montage, it was whatever,'” the comedian tells the column. “This time when Ana Hickmann finally managed to muster up the courage and say something and yet you can tell she’s very scared I thought this video could help show who this guy is,” adds Mhel .

“Nobody believes in one woman, but people are more able to believe in two women,” she adds.

Ana Hickmann filed a complaint against her husband for assault and domestic violence on Saturday (11).

In April 2012, when the threat against Mhel allegedly occurred, the comedian was also serving as a humor judge on Tudo É Possível, an attraction on the channel that was run by Ana Hickmann from 2009 to 2012. In a closed group with other comedians on Facebook, Mhel said he made negative comments about the program, saying one of the attraction’s “competitions was jam” and making fun of a “guy on the team.”

The comedian’s comments were leaked and gained Correa’s attention, who reportedly called her out. Mhel says they argued and the businessman insulted and threatened her. Because of the intimidation, she claims, she decided to turn on the camera and record the last part of the conversation.

“I was so nervous that I can’t even remember exactly what he said to me before I started recording. But when I saw him start saying things like, ‘Be careful,’ I grabbed my camera and started filming,” he reports.

In the video, Mhel apologizes for the threat and promises to “never do anything like that again.” “Above all, I understand and respect your power because I know that you have the power to do anything, including the end of my family, if the need ever arises.”

The voice that appears to be Correa’s voice then quips, “I have so much power that I’m forced to make my wife present a program with content that I think could be much better.” I have no power at all. The only power I have is I have bills to pay all day.”

At the end he wishes Mhel good luck. She says this was the first threat she had received since she started as a comedian. Then others followed, from other people. “Today I suffer from panic syndrome because of this. And that’s where it started, in April 2012.”

She claims she told Record’s legal team what happened, but nothing was done. “The most [o setor jurídico] What he did for me was let me leave the station without paying the penalty.

“I didn’t go back to Record after that day. I didn’t return until years later,” he says. Mhel also says that she warned Marcos Mion about the episode and the host defended her.

Record and Correa only responded to contact after this text was completed.

In an interview with UOL’s Splash, Ana HIckmann’s husband confirmed the attack on his wife and said he was lying when he initially denied what happened.

“When I saw this note, I fell into complete despair and denied it. Did you lie? I lied. Point. Or did I leave the fact out? I left them out. I was on the street, desperate, confused. I was lost. I said, ‘My God in heaven,'” he said.

Correa also states that he panicked over the implications of the case, which he said was classified as “disintelligence between couples.” “Why didn’t I argue, why didn’t I get up from the table, why didn’t I go to the corner, didn’t I get some water? Why didn’t I bang my head against the wall.” . I don’t know it. But it’s over,” he said.

In a post on Instagram, the businessman denied headbutting Hickmann.

“I would also like to make it clear that I never headbutted her, as has been untruely reported in the press, and that everything will be properly resolved in due course.”
