Lindsay Lohan’s career return has been even greater.
Months after it was revealed that the actress will star in an upcoming holiday movie on Netflix, the streaming giant has confirmed that they have already signed a multi-film agreement with the former child star.
The news came Tuesday as Netflix independent film director Christina Rodgers said they had secured 35-year-old Lohan for two more feature films.
“We are so pleased with our collaboration with Lindsay so far and are excited to continue our partnership with her. “We look forward to presenting more of her films to our members around the world,” Rodgers told the Hollywood Reporter.
Details of the two films have not yet been made public, but they are reported to be available to all 222 million Netflix subscribers when they enter the streaming service.
This exposure could catapult Lohan back to A’s list after her dramatic personal life overshadowed her film career over the past decade.
Lohan was one of America’s most famous children’s stars, starring in “Parent Trap” and “Evil Girls” before suffering from drugs and alcohol addiction, which led her to both prison and rehabilitation.
However, last November, the popular star got engaged to her two-year-old boyfriend, financier Bader Shamas, and her professional life is already booming along with personal.
Later this year, Lohan will star with Chord Overstreet in the Netflix holiday film “Falling for Christmas.”
An official summary of the film reads: “Recently engaged, spoiled hotel heiress (Loan) gets into a skiing accident, suffers from complete amnesia and finds herself in the care of a beautiful owner of a blue-collar hut (Overstreet) and his prematurely mature daughter in the days before Christmas . “
No official release date has been announced.
