On Tuesday, at the opening of the Canadian Football League (CFL) free agent market, the organization announced that it had offered the 30-year-old athlete a two-year contract.
Fajardo has been in the CFL since the 2016 season and has worked for the Saskatchewan Roughriders for the past three seasons. In 2022, he played 17 games, completing 282 of 401 passes he attempted for 3,360 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was also the victim of 13 interceptions. The newcomer can also run with the ball.
