The American judiciary is making Donald Trump’s plans more difficult

ANALYSIS – Legal problems are piling up for Donald Trump. In addition to the ongoing investigations into his various companies, new criminal proceedings against his activities during and after his tenure as President are threatened.

While prosecuting a former president and current presidential nominee is politically difficult, the prospects remain worrisome, even for a man long accustomed to litigation and litigation. Trump, who has made his alleged persecution by the Democratic government and the Deep State one of his favorite topics, has not failed to denounce a cabal set up against him. But the facts remain, and the procedures initiated or about to be initiated will weigh on the election campaign both politically and financially. At the federal level, Trump could be prosecuted by the Justice Department in two separate cases: his role in the January 6, 2021 riots and in challenging the results of the presidential election; and therein regarding classified documents found at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
